On the Hunt: 2ctw round studs in WG

One of my husband’s good friends is on the hunt for the following:

2ctw (or just under) round stud earrings
Cut is priority but super ideal not necessary
J or above but H or above preferred
18k WG preferred
Max budget out the door: $10,000

Of course I did a search of paired stones on WF, and can find some nice ACAs (1.60ctw) for just under budget, but I thought I’d put this out there for any bargain hunters that might want a little challenge today.

Any tips for vendors or strong contenders appreciated!

The friend was mostly concerned about size, price, and color. He wanted sparkly but super ideals were a bit out of the budget and he wanted larger than .80 (which was what I was finding in the ACAs). I was able to find him a pair of .90 (each) H-VS2 GIA cert which both scored just over 2 on the HCA. (I even showed him a comparison of what .90 vs 1.0 would look like so he saw that the 7% difference was negligible and not necessarily worth the extra thousands to hit 1.0 each.) The proportions are very good (again, not ideal) and fall within the recommendations for rounds. And he was able to be under budget.


He told me that he would share pics once he got them.
