On-point, angled, star-set, kite-set whatever-you-call-it princess cut diamond!!

Hey guys!

As a follow up to this post, I found the perfect diamond for my baby!

It turns out that the jeweler was most familiar with this setting being called "on point"

.76 ct. - VS2 - G in color - VG in polish and symmetry.


Also surprisingly, it was difficult to find an exactly square princess-cut diamond for this sort of thing.

It''s a beautiful ring indeed. I''m looking for something similar as well and was worried about how it may look. Now I know it''ll look wonderful. A quick question: when you said you need an exactly square diamond for this setting, does it really have to be exact or can it be off say 0.01-0.02 mm?
