Lol!!! Thanks ladies!!!! I''ll have to take some pics tomorrow of Mr. Bunny with the blue bling. It''s too dark now.

As for the setting, I''m going to see if they can somehow shave the shank down so it will be skinnier, and fix the prongs so they don''t stick out as much, and hug the stone more. One looks like it''s kind of just resting next to the stone instead of holding onto it.

I''ll let you guys know what they say! (This will be after Christmas though, just as a warning.)

I've been using D's computer, but it sucks because I don't have anything of mine on it. So right now I'm hankering to put together some bridal canvases and stuff, but I can't because I don't have any of my photos on here OR photoshop. This sucks.

And I haven't taken any pictures because then I'd have to upload them to his comp, and they wouldn't be on mine. Which also sucks.

My best friends came over last night for NYE and they bought me a bridal mag for Christmas, AND I WANT TO START PLANNING! I'm going to throw a temper tantrum now. Three year old style.

So the reason I can't start planning is because we don't have a budget. At the moment our budget is what we have in our wedding fund (a big glass vase on the floor) and it's MAYBE $100. MAYBE. So we're supposed to talk to my dad about the budget in a week or so and hopefully then I can start doing something.

But for now I have pretty wedding shoes and pretty wedding earrings. Now all I need is a dress and I am ready to get married! (well that and a few other things...)

Meh...

ETA: I also feel like I don't have a place on PS. I'm not a LIW anymore, and I'm kind of a BIW, but its silly because I'm not planning anything yet.

I don''t have my computer back. It''s still at the "computer spa" getting so R and R. FI got his old desktop fixed and we hooked it up to our tv. So I''m currently using that while he''s typing away on his laptop.

Wedding planning has commenced, but my dad seems to be changing his mind. At first he wanted a big reception, and now he doesn''t. Bleh.

Oh and I think FI and I are going to change my ring. Certainly not the stone, but the setting just isn''t doing it for me.

Also, because of the PT and SG fiasco (what a mess that is) I''m considering not posting all angles of shots of my ering when it is completed because it will be my own original design. We shall see...

That is a fiasco--I feel so bad for those involved. I think it''s a good idea, though--if you don''t want your ring to be copied, then don''t post detailed pictures. On the other hand, if you don''t mind being someone''s inspiration, then there''s nothing to worry about. In a way, even if someone did copy it, you''d always have the first one, which is really special.

In any case, I can''t wait to see it! Do you have any designs you''re drawing inspiration from?

The profile is, I think ArtCarved and I *think* the split shank is Daniel K, but I have no idea because a friend who is on PS, but also a friend off PS shared it with me, and I never asked who made it. It''s been so long since I looked at this stuff, I can''t remember! FI and I talked about it last night and he said that maybe we could have the other Dan Stair stone set into the setting I have now.

I''m nervous though!

Freke, a funny thing happened last night. Kris and I were out to dinner with some friends, one of whom mentioned that they had gotten married in Vegas (they live there). I mentioned that I had a friend who was thinking of getting married there, maybe at Mandalay Bay.

Kris asked who I was talking about and I mentioned it was one of my PS friends, the other Liz. His response was "Oh, yeah! She just got engaged a few weeks ago!" LOL--I guess he does listen when I talk about Pricescope.

As for the custom setting I think I''m going to have the people who did this ring do that one too. I''ve asked about custom before and they do either wax molds or CADs, so we''ll see. And FI suggested that I get the Dan put in this setting and "wear it as a substitute engagement ring"--Which I had suggested a while ago--when I thought he wasn''t listening.

It''s amazing when you finally realize that they are listening when you think they aren''t, isn''t it?!
