Oh I do remember one. Last year we were going to get our taxes done. We pushed the elevator button. It opened up and a man stepped out. We stepped in and the door closed. ICK ICK ICK, he had let one loose. It smelled so bad I thought I was going to throw up. I tried to hold my breath until we reached our floor.

What a mean thing for that man to do. My husband was laughing so hard at me.

Now that is a great idea. I do have a little bottle of that. Have to remember to keep it in my purse.

Harriet - Burps ARE just as funny! I''ve won many a burping contest in my day! Against the manliest of men, too! Tee hee - it''s a bit of a secret. DH says nobody would guess it when meeting me!

OK, I''m back with the Spot joke...You can imagine why I thought it would apply when you had your encounter with your new docent friend!

I copied it as DH thinks I am the world''s worst joke ''teller''! I''ve thought of posting this many times in Storm''s joke threads, but, I never thought it would fit in.

I''m so glad to have the opportunity now as it is one of my unsavory favorites!



A young man was delighted to finally be asked home to meet the parents of the young woman he''d been seeing for some time. He was quite nervous about the meeting, though, and by the time he arrived punctually at the doorstep he was in a state of gastric distress.
The problem developed into one of acute flatulence, and halfway through the canapés the young man realized he couldn''t hold it in one second longer without exploding. A tiny fart escaped.
"SPOT!" called out the young woman''s mother to the family dog, lying at the young man''s feet.
Relieved at the dog''s having been blamed, the young man let another, slightly larger one go. "Spot!" she called out sharply. "I''ve got it made," thought the fellow to himself. One more and I''ll feel fine. So he let loose a really big one.
"Spot!" shrieked the mother. "Get over here before he shits on you!"

And burps can be funny, but I think gas is funnier because it''s less perceived as less acceptable. You know, the more you shouldn''t laugh at something, the funnier it becomes. And farting in public is the worst/funniest.
