Of course, but San Diego is more than a warm weekend trip, too much traveling for just a few days. You''ll have to stay for a week.

Scarlet and I were looking at gems and minerals at the American Natural History Museum yesterday. There was a rather garrulous docent on duty. While she was talking at us, she, er, displayed some flatulence. Loudly. Bad Scarlet ran off to laugh, leaving me with the docent, who repeated her act. Twice more. I''m afraid we cackled our way out of the museum.

The laugh was totally worth the $5 we spent to get in...unfortunately, the Butterfly "Exhibit" was not that impressive. I will have to post those pictures when I get a moment!

Even worse, she let loose without skipping a beat in telling us about the "radioactive rocks" and florescent minerals display. I''m really not sure she heard herself.

I will never look at a fluorescent gem or mineral the same way again. Come on, she had to have heard herself. She could hear us, and we were quieter than the emissions. You''re forgiven. The next time, I get to run.

Hahahaha. Do you have any funny stories? I have a couple more. They are not as funny, but they are grosser.

No, but I wish I did. My grandsons like to pass gas all the time, no matter where we are. We are telling them sternly that it is an unacceptable thing to do. At their age, they think it is hysterical.

Oh I do remember one. Last year we were going to get our taxes done. We pushed the elevator button. It opened up and a man stepped out. We stepped in and the door closed. ICK ICK ICK, he had let one loose. It smelled so bad I thought I was going to throw up. I tried to hold my breath until we reached our floor.

What a mean thing for that man to do. My husband was laughing so hard at me.
