OEC Question

Hi everyone, can any of you who have bough OEC diamonds tell me where you got them from? Also, are these diamonds typically cheaper than modern diamonds?

OECs have to be sought out at antique dealers, estate jewelers, etc. Antique fairs...Just as with modern cuts, there are poorly cut antique stones, and mediocre cut antique stones, and steller antique cut stones. Very well cut stones of exceptions 4Cs can be the same or higher priced, compared to moderns because there simply aren''t that many laying about for purchase.

For lists of stores, which are many, please do a search on OMC, OEC, antique cuts, etc. and you''ll find a ton of threads with many suggestions on where to look.
