Oak and laurel leaf pendant

So I wanted to share my new pendant! It was custom/hand made by a local jeweler to celebrate my phd, one year ago. The leaves have a meaning as tokens for my school and subject area, law. The round plate is inscribed on the back.
Normally you buy a ring, but they are really very bulky and wide male rings and since I didnt want one of those my parents were really sweet to have this pendant made instead. It is ca 2 cm.

I am blessed to have such loving parents. The final year and a half was awfully hard and they helped me and dh out in many ways. Even though one year has already passed I can still feel the stress. Nice to be done!!

I think the pendant weighs slightly over 4 g, it feels substantial but still not heavy on the neck. This may already be obvious but I love the look of gold! The tiny 0.05 ct diamond is set in wg. I should perhaps also have mentioned that the rest of the pendant is made in 18 k Swedish red gold.
