@Mamabean how did your periodontist appointment go? I feel your pain and hate to go the any doctor but especially dentists and such. Ouch and Oy. I usually have to talk myself into going and not the other way around lol. Hope it went well and no (or little) blood was shed and you are doing A OK. XOXO.

It went okay @missy I really don’t like to go but I’m supposed to go every four months alternating with a general dentist. I didn’t go to the general dentist so it was eight months since I went. He asked me why I didn’t go to the general dentist. First of all, I don’t have a general dentist because I keep putting it off...Next thing you know it’s time for the periodontist. I told him I was afraid of the dentist..and he couldn’t stop laughing..:oops:He said he always wondered why I looked like a deer in the headlights when he walks in...hahaha..He made me promise to come back to him in four months. We air pinky sweared so I have to go now..haha

I hear you Joanne. I was spoiled as my dad was a dentist and he was the best (IMO and of course I might be biased but his patients all loved him so much). So when he retired and I had to find a new dentist I was unable to find anyone I trusted nearly as much as my dad. I went through like 4 or 5 dentists till I decided to go to my good friend D who is a dentist at the shore. I decided to break my rule and see a friend as my health care provider. Best decision I ever made. She's excellent. I just worry she won't be working too much longer because it is very draining work.

Glad your appointment went well and yes now you must follow up as promised. Pinky swears are sacred.

:halo:

Not really sure about the eye. It looks infected, like the eye ball itself is hurting. But she has had too high pressure on that eye before so she is doing regular checkups with an eye specialist. But she also has glaucoma so might be related to that? I didn’t go with her to the doc because I was in Copenhagen. So had to send my dad. lol. Grandma is my mother’s mother. So he thought two children, two dogs AND grandma duty was a little overkill poor guy.

It could be related to her glaucoma if it isn't well controlled and the intra ocular eye pressure is too high still. I hope she finds relief soon. Let me know how it goes with her and if there is anything I can do.

Omg...Please smack me...I’m not happy with the milgrain bezeled baguettes on my new setting. I love everything else...just not feeling the baguettes..They’re too bulky..I emailed David and he was a sweetheart as always...He said he could try to remove the milgrain and thin out the bezels..round out the points..and see where we are. If I don’t like the bezels he would have to recast and start over. Omg..:confused2:

Definitely not a dot! It is gorgeous! But perhaps you would like it better if it was thinner at the “end” where the shank meets the centre stone? And that might also make it look even bigger lol. Love, size h*

I bought two different sets of baguettes...one is in my previous setting that was too low..and now in this setting. I think the bezel makes it extra thick there. I’m going to see if he can thin it out. The removal of the milgrain will be an improvement and I think I will be happier with it. I like everything else about it so crossing my fingers...I hate sending it off again but it’s been bothering me..

Good morning girls!

@Tekate dear Kate the very great and wise and wonderful, how are you today? Aww Autie is precious. A beautiful girl inside and out I know it. She is special Kate and she is lucky to have you as her grandma! I know you feel super lucky too to have her as your granddaughter.

Wow you are experiencing a very busy and stressful time and we are here for you. No worries about having time to post or anything because you are always in our thoughts and we just want your move and house plans to go smoothly. Glad you rented a house close to your son while all this is happening and in the end it will have been all worth it but I know in the meantime it's hairy. Boo to snow this weekend and yes you are so right. Life is messy indeed. Speaking of messy...

Thank you for reading the RW thread and making it easier for me not to have to repeat here. I am feeling scared and depressed still as I think I see hair loss on some of the cats and what if it is new? I really am not strong enough to continue this forever. The routine is just a bear...haha @marcy a bear, even now I can still joke and laugh and that is key I think to surviving this. Greg and I are super tired. Forgive me for going on...and my gums are still bleeding so I know that is not good. Already saw the hygienist who thought it was just plaque buildup but clearly it isn't. So I have to call the dentist but have been procrastinating as I just don't have energy or time. I look to you as inspiration though as you have gone through much more challenging times and I admire you Kate so much. You are one strong woman. An unbelievable human being and just incredible in all ways. I take strength from you. Dear Kate I look forward to the day we can meet again in Brooklyn and have fun and I would love your whole family to join us. Hugs and love to you and John and Autie and everyone. Please tell your sweet niece katie I say hello and send my very best. (((HUGS)))

@marcy no I wish. We aren't going to hit 8K this year. It's impossible with the weather and work. Greg has a busy work day today and we have to still shampoo the cats which takes 2 plus hours when we do all of them which we are doing today. And the weather is hitting the 30s in a few days. Too cold. And snow is on the way. But absolutely no complaints re riding as we outdid ourselves cycling this year. No crying about that. I just wish Francesca was here with us and then everything would be easier to bear (haha bear). I miss her so much. I cry about her for her every single day multiple times a day. My heart aches for her. For the years she didn't get to enjoy that she should have. She should be here with us. I feel a deep pain whenever I think of her and it is often. Thanks for letting me get it out.

Sweet coming home to a clean house. Hope jury duty goes well for Marty.
I agree water has a special something that brings joy and peace and I wish everyone could live by the ocean. I am sorry your body doesn't work well these days and I hear you and can relate. You are a good person Marcy in a world of not great people and I feel lucky we met here and are friends. One day in person but for now this works. Sending you hugs and love and hope you are having a good week.

@canuk-gal happy November month! We like to celebrate all month long and you deserve only the best. I so wish I could send you bling and one day who knows I might be able to...I might just win a lottery and then you will be showered with gifts and so will all the NIRDIs I love and adore. XOXO. Boo to the bad weather but glad work was not stressful and just a good busy.

@Austina how is Colin feeling today? Please let us know what the surgeon says. Thinking good thoughts for all of you. XOXO

@Slick1 hope you are having a good week too. You are a rockstar going through all you went through and you are my inspiration. Plus a darn good lady which as I wrote above is a rare find. I got so lucky in this thread meeting such amazing women. Sending you hugs and love and all that good stuff.

@Scandinavian continued bucketloads of healing dust being sent your way my dear. Looking forward to hearing good news from you and one day we will get together again under happier circumstances I pray. XOXO

@bling_dream19 how is your week going? December is almost here and I am so excited for your winter wedding. Hugs.

@Daisys and Diamonds I thought you would enjoy that NJ is my spiritual home photo I shared above. Greg saw it first and thought of you. He is an honorary NIRDI as I share stories sometimes (only the good ones) and he feels like he knows you. Anyway hope you are having a wonderful week and sending you hugs and love.

@Calliecake enjoy your grandnieces and nieces and have a good week.

We rode yesterday as I wrote above and had a good ride. Today is a no ride day. Work and cats get in the way plus rain occasionally today. No ice cream. Oh well. Anyway lots to do today and we got a late start. But wanted to wish you all a happy tuesday and send hugs and good wishes your way. XOXO.

Leaving you with a photo of our drive in yesterday AM for my ultrasound appointment. The holidays are upon us.

@Austina, What a relief that all is well with Colin and it’s part of the healing process. I’m sure he will be thrilled when this is over and he is back to feeling well. We have the same problem here with fireworks.

@Scandinavian , I hope your mom is doing and feeling well. It’s wonderful news that she is back home. Sending dust to your grandmother. How exciting about the new jewelry project. It will be beautiful Scandi. I can’t wait to see the finished ring. Did they give you an idea how long it will take to complete the new setting? Unfortunately some of us here know to well how diamonds seem to shrink. It’s crazy how they seem so big when we first get them and then you wake up one day and they don’t seem big at all. I’m fine. Just having dental work done.

@Mamabean, You are doing the right thing about sending the ring back if it bugs you. I always find it something bugs me about a ring it usually continues to bug me later on. It’s a beautiful ring. Side baguette is my favorite setting for a diamond. It’s timeless and never goes out of style. Great news that your ring is at the house and you know exactly where it is. Very strange about her saying it wasn’t there at first. Although to be honest I’ve frantically looked for keys in a drawer and didn’t see them only to go back and look again a half hour later and they were sitting in the drawer I had just searched. I’m hoping something like this happened but can see why you are concerned. I hope everything is going well with Chris. If you liked the Downton Abbey series you will enjoy the movie. Two women about our age were sitting a few rows behind us. One made the funniest comments after some of Maggie Smith’s scenes.

@junebug17, I hope you are having a good week. Do you have anything fun planned this week?

@missy, How scary about your dad. Is he feeling better now? Sending dust to your him for his surgery tomorrow.

@marcy, Did Marty get picked for jury duty?? I hope you are having a good week. Did you get more snow?

@Tekate, I loved your posts in the other thread. We tend to view this exactly the same way. I know I didn’t need to tell you as I’m sure it’s obvious to a lot of people by now LOL. I hope you are feeling okay.

@av, Gardening can definitely be a workout especially all the work you are doing. I get tired just reading about all the yard work your have been doing.

@bling_dream19, Have fun this week with wedding planning. Enjoy every minute of this happy time!

@Canuck-gal , We could get some snow tomorrow. I’m really missing summer. I’m sure you are too.

We had a fun day yesterday hearing all my niece’s stories about school. We picked out a Christmas dress for her so she was really excited about that. I stopped at Nordstrom and bought a new pair of boots.

Very tired tonight for some reason so I'm heading to bed soon but I just wanted to check in quickly with everyone...

@missy, I'll be keeping your father in my thoughts and hoping everything goes well for him. I know it's going to be a long and stressful day for everyone. Sending tons of healing vibes to your niece too. Glad you got some good news at the doctor and I hope your appointment next week is helpful. LOL to 20 ways to drink coffee, so cute.

@Austina, good news about Colin! I hope he is feeling more like himself very soon. My most recent painting attempt is a bird's nest and eggs...didn't come out that great but I learned a lot by doing it. I agree with you on the excessive fireworks; very unnecessary and disruptive.

@Tekate, love your touching words about the nirdis <3. The family is doing pretty well, knock on wood! Dh is good but very busy at work...the kids seem to be doing fine, working and enjoying being young LOL. I'm sending you calming thoughts as you deal with the commotion and stress of moving XO. Absolutely adorable pic of Autie! Such a beautiful child

@AV_, I hope you enjoy you time in Seville. And be careful doing that yard work - It's good you enjoy it though, and you are definitely getting some excercise!

@canuk-gal, so glad your work day wasn't too stressful. And sorry the winter weather is starting to kick in, boo. Yum to rose gold hoops...and pear diamonds...Yay to treating yourself to something!

@Calliecake, oh no to such a long appointment! Just terrible, I'm sorry...and I hope you have a fabulous time with your nieces and grand nieces, sounds great!

ETA - we were posting at the same time lol! Glad you had a good time with your niece; shopping for a dress must have been so fun. Nice you bought some new boots too.

@Mamabean, so sorry about the incident with your cleaning woman...it does sound like she might have been protecting her son...very upsetting and I'm glad you got your ring back. I'm not having any luck finding drops...I bought some garnet pear drops but they don't fit on my hoops. I will let you know if I find anything! Your ring is beautiful but it should be exactly what you want so good for you for making the changes! DD seems to be doing better, she sounds more like her usual self.

@bling_dream19, Happy Birthday! Sounds like it was so much fun. Gorgeous scenery! And I absolutely love your citrine ring! Beautiful color and really pretty setting  You are making really good progress on your wedding plans. Everything sounds lovely and I just know it's going to be a wonderful day.

@Scandinavian, so glad your mother is home and I hope she's settling in and is as comfortable as possible. A pink diamond halo...SO exciting! It's going to be stunning, can't wait to see it!

Tomorrow is a busy day with several appointments...and on Friday I'm going to see the play Beautiful with two friends. I'm staying at my friend's house and won't be back until Saturday but I will try to check in soon.

Take care all! OX

I don't know where to put this complaint but this seems to serve as a catch-all thread... my earrings from Yvonne were supposed to arrive today but the @(#&*@ing mail carrier skipped my house THEN had the audacity to put on the delivery thing "notice left - no authorized recipient available." I was here for hours on either side of the timestamp and not only did no one come to the door but I was angry enough (this is NOT the first time this has happened) to watch an hour's worth of nestcam footage and no mail carrier was on my street in front of my house or the two on either side and only two cars passed in that time, neither of which stopped. This NEVER happened at my old house with my old post office and set of mail carriers but happens regularly here and I'm so pissed off. :x2:x2:x2 I'm going to be at the post office e a r l y tomorrow to complain, I can tell you that.

I’m sorry @distracts..That stinks...I’ve had that happen. It was when my regular mail carrier was off. I saw the guy put my mail in the mailbox but not the package. He would have had to come to the house for a signature and he didn’t want to do that so just continued on. I let my regular mail carrier know. He wasn’t happy..

Yeah my mail carrier at my old house and the substitute were both fantastic... the only time I had something misdelivered (once in 9 years!) it was because they were both out, and it had just gone to my neighbor's house and was only an issue because they put it inside then immediately went on vacation, lol. At this house though, this is the third time this has happened since August, all on $2k+ jewelry purchases... so you can see why it has me antsy and upset! At my old house I always wanted things shipped USPS because they were so reliable but at this one they're just not!

Hi NIRDI’s!

Callie, Marty specifically told me to park the pickup in the driveway and he’d pull it in the garage. What a chicken, eh? Oh no for spending several hours at the dentist. I hope you are feeling better already from that. How fun to meet up with your nieces and grandnieces plus getting some shopping treasures. Has your weather cleared up? We are getting freezing fog right now but tomorrow we are heading back to the 40’s for a few days.

Missy, good luck to your dad for his surgery tomorrow. Ha ha @Bear but yes this is a bear for you. Keeping a sense of humor always helps. I wish sweet Francesca was still with you too, you will always cherish her and miss her and that’s okay - it means you really loved the time you had with her. Oh no that your gums are still bleeding. That is scary. I hope you do get more miles in this year but it is November. I hope we get to meet some day too. That would be awesome. Bling, bling, everywhere. Cool city shot with the snowflake decoration. I still am impressed with that guy riding so many miles over the years. Wow!!! It sounds like you could work in 2 dishes of ice cream next spring and summer. Sweet. Cute kitty cartoon about coffee.

Mamabean, I am so glad you “found” your ring. That is something. And I thought I had complaints with my cleaning ladies, you are probably right though it was most likely her son. Marty’s nephew took about $100 from my dad once and his mom was oblivious to him having some cash all of a sudden. At one of our star parties once someone had an expensive eyepiece taken out of his case; we mentioned it at the drawing for door prizes and we found it on the table in the registration booth the next morning and got it back to the owner. You’d like to think people will do the right thing. We aren’t quite as cold and snowy as Fargo but I often say “eh” just for fun. My Macan is great in snow and on ice; Germans seem to know how to build cars that go through snow. I think Groucho is getting worried about her job; but according to HR it is probably too little too late. We will see. Yay for a clean car; mine is filthy. I hope to get it run through the car wash this weekend. That’s nice to get excused from jury duty; I knew they would excuse you for being a full time caretaker. Sorry your body is rebelling against you for all that hard work. Good luck getting both houses in order. Darn that you don’t like the milgrain bezeled baguettes; it seems like David is always willing to remake his designs. It is a gorgeous ring but I agree thinning it out would change it quite a bit.

Bling Dream, your birthday weekend sounds divine. Love your citrine ring. Very pretty. How exciting to be ordering your wedding invitations. You are collecting lots of things for your wedding. I am a fan of Lenox Outlets myself but they aren’t around me neck of the woods. I go crazy when I get to shop there though.

AV, sorry your nieces won’t be near this winter. My nieces live in Houston now; I miss seeing them. I am tired reading about your yard work.

Scandi, this thread is moving fast. Even a few days and I’m pages behind. Glad your mom got to go home. How exciting about the pink diamond halo. The NN’s are still driving me crazy. The one who is on a performance plan is really struggling so may be gone soon. She is getting obviously stressed but has remained surpassingly cordial. Oh no that your grandmother has an eye infection. How miserable for her and oh no she may need a pacemaker. Hope she and your mom are doing better. Have a nice time at the beach.

Austina, I am so glad to hear Colin is doing okay. Great idea to get an absentee ballot; we usually do that. Makes it so convenient. I agree; people are so inconsiderate with fireworks. We have someone about 1/2 mile away that shots them off almost nightly in the summer. If Marty is gone it scars the crud out of me and I know what’s going on.

Sharon, how exciting to have some new pieces or 5 on the way. I can’t wait to see what you get.

Marty did get picked for jury duty but was done this afternoon. Yesterday morning he was juror #30; they had #31 assigned seating. They picked 13 and one of them was Marty. The trial started after lunch yesterday and he was done mid afternoon. I asked him “guilty eh?” He said yes. Then I asked if he was going to prison; he said he’s already there just staying there longer.

Junebug, I am yawning myself. I hope you get a great night’s sleep. I keep waking up early and can’t go back to sleep plus I don’t think I’ve adjusted yet to DST going off. Nice that you learned some things from painting a bird’s nest and eggs; sounds like a great picture. Have fun seeing Beautiful and visiting with some friends.

Distracts, oh no about your earrings not being delivered and claiming they attempted to deliver them. Grr.

So Marty’s jury was quick. The prosecution had 4 witnesses and the defense didn’t call anyone not even the accused. He was accused of endangering a child, attempting to disarm and police officer and unlawful touching. He was found guilty on two of those charges; unlawful touching was not defined nor proven.

The IT guy had my computer tied up at work for about 4 hours today; luckily I had taken my work laptop in today. I told Marty that packing in my purse, lunch and laptop was no longer a challenge with my mini muscles. I lifted 58 pounds last night and pressed 33 pounds. I’m almost a beast - no more like a teddy bear.

Take care.
Marcy

Thanks dear Junie. We appreciate your good wishes so much. Very nervous for my dad. Thanks for the good wishes for my niece too. I am sorry you are so tired and hope you are having sweet and restful dreams. How exciting you are seeing "Beautiful" soon. Let us know how it is. I heard it was very enjoyable. Good luck with all your appointments today. Have a great time with your friends sweet Junie and sending you lots of (((hugs))).

Thanks Missy! I have alterations tomorrow and basically planning the wedding this week! Ordering invitations tonight from Costco of coarse! Wedding favors picked out and ordering soon. Will do a post soon with everything I've got so far for the wedding. We go our cake topper, knife and server as well, ring holder and frame all from Lenox outlet. I love Lenox outlets. I'm slightly nervous to get married but I'm being really open with my FI and he is too anx that's helping both of us. Going to post a smtb for my new citrine. And also under latest purchases for my new MH setting with spinel I love it!
Love and hugs to everyone!

So exciting! When we got married I never heard of Costco or else I would have used them too for invites and anything else I could have. Woohoo for getting so much stuff already. You are on the ball. And I saw that citrine ring right before I headed to bed last night! Gave me sweet dreams. Ooh la la citrine-licious and citrine-luscious. LOVE.

@missy i am praying for your father all day tomorrow for safe procedure. Hugs to you and your family. Hang in there girl and know he will be ok.

Aww thank you so much. (((Hugs))) back.

Thank you dear Marcy. Haha yes I suggested that to Greg. Stopping at Days first and then Jimmy's place. They are only 10 minutes apart though so no time to digest one bowl before another lol. But if we must.8)
Me too. Super impressive. 1 million miles. I cannot even fathom how many that truly is. Amazing.

Wow, speaking of amazing that is super impressive Marcy. Lifting 58 lbs and pressed 33 lbs last night. You are a beast in the best possible way. Will you beat up any bullies that bother me? JK and LOL I bet you could. Darn the IT guy tied your computer up for 4 hours but glad you had your laptop with you. Smart cookie. You are a strong woman inside and out. You rock. XOXO.

@canuk-gal hope your week is going well. It's getting colder here. Darn. Oh well the faster we get winter over with the quicker spring and summer arrive. Cup half full right? (((Hugs))).

@Austina hope Colin is continuing to feel better and hope you are having a nice week. Sending warm (((hugs))) your way.

@Scandinavian Mine is a tiny dot next to yours!

Wow, GORGEOUS. And nice size Joanne. Hardly a dot LOL. Good luck tomorrow and I hope all goes well and that your ring is right there waiting for you and the brunch prep is going well too. Hugs.

@Scandinavian how is your mom doing sweetie? How is your grandmother's eye? What did the doctor say? And I cannot wait to see your delicious pink diamond halo. Sending continued healing hugs across the miles. And lots of love.

@AV_ hope you are having an enjoyable week. Sending lots of positive vibes your way and big hugs.

Aww I am so sorry @distracts that sucks. I hate when that happens and it happens more often than it should. OFc it shouldn't ever happen. I hope you are able to pick it up today no problem and please share it here with us when you do. We are thinking good thoughts for a smooth delivery or pickup today and I now it is going to look amazing on you and this will be just a distant (annoying) memory. As an aside I have a signature only package arriving today (when I ordered it I didn't know it had to be signature only) and we won't be home. Not happy about it at all as it is Fed Ex and we are not close to Fed Ex at all at the beach house. And it is a pain in the tushy. Greg will not be pleased about it. It was an impulse purchase (too expensive) and he saw it show up on the PayPal on his computer so though I didn't tell him about it he knows. Last night he mentioned oh so when is the coat coming. LOL. What he doesn't know is it is signature only so that means trip to Fed Ex when we have zero spare time with the cats and all the stuff we are doing. Oh well. I share to let you know I am empathetic about what you are dealing with but hope today you receive your delicious earrings from Yvonne.

@Daisys and Diamonds how are you doing dear? How is Gary doing and how is his DD? Thinking of you. XO.

Calliecake thank you. Glad you got new boots.

We had a great ride yesterday and the sun was out the whole day. Sadly today it is in the whole day so will be cloudy and much colder and rain is arriving late afternoon. We are going to ride today however as it is our last day to ride probably. Cold weather is here to stay and snow and all that freezing stuff is arriving. Marcy and Sharon I know you kwim and feel my pain. I am sorry you do though. One day maybe we can all move someplace where the weather is great all year round and that is affordable too. If you figure out where that is please let me know. 8)

Gorgeous day yesterday.

And Greg wore his red cycling pants which are my favorite. They are the warmest pair he owns. He looks very smart in them but I know I am biased and IMO he looks great in everything he wears but I digress.

and of course the requisite ice cream shot. Yummmmmmmmm.

I hope you are able to speak to someone at the post office that can shake that mail carrier up....I would be angry too..

There are a few threads venting about this issue. It's more common than it should be. Very aggravating indeed. If it makes anyone feel better...

There are more but I am having trouble searching on PS however you get the idea. @distracts sending lots of earring dust your way and hoping you get Yvonne's earrings today.

Hello lovelies

Your birthday gifts sound lovely @canuk-gal, I bought a pair of Swarovski in and out hoops just to see if I liked them as I don’t normally wear hoops. I‘m glad a few things just happened to fall in to your birthday basket, and can’t wait to see what they are :D

If I’m brutally honest @Mamabean, I’m not really a fan of millgraining, so I think your ring would look better without it. I do really like the setting otherwise and hope thinning out the bezels will give you the result you absolutely love.

Woohoo, I can’t wait to see your ring in her new pink tutu @Scandinavian, your husband is an absolute gem. I’m sorry your Grandma is also experiencing health problems, and I hope she’ll soon be on the road to recovery.

Wow, that was a quick trial for Marty @marcy. Does he have to go back or is he done? Well done on doing so well with your lifting, you must be getting really strong. I wonder if NN will jump before she’s pushed, I don’t wish her any hardship, but having worked with people who didn’t pull their weight, I know how frustrating it gets.

I’m sure you’re being too modest @junebug17 but at least you feel that it’s been a good learning experience. Sounds like you’re in for a busy, but fun time in the next few days, and I hope you enjoy the play with your friends.

I hope all your plans are coming together @bling_dream19 and your fitting went well. Aren’t Costco great you really can get just about anything there.

Hi @Daisys and Diamonds, how’re things with you?

Gardening is certainly giving you a good workout @AV_, my friend Shirley has over an acre garden, and until recently, was doing most of the work herself.

Ugh @distracts I just hate when that happens. We‘ve had people just throw things over our gates rather than ring the intercom or walk up the drive. The good thing about having cameras is that you can catch them out when they lie.

How sweet to get your little niece a Christmas dress, and nice job getting yourself some new boots too @Calliecake. Have you joined the OTK brigade :D ?

Hope everything is going well @Tekate and you’re not in too much pain while you’re dealing with packing up the house and all the other things going on ATM.

I hope by the time you read this, your Dad will be out of surgery and recovering well @missy. I know it’ll have been a very worrying day for you all, but hopefully the worst is over and he’s doing well.

We’ve spent quite a few hours putting up new lights on the front of the house. Jeez, these things are never easy. Somebody has got to invent a better way of doing these things. When we moved here, the second thing we always do (first being changing all the locks) is to get all the electrics checked. We ended up changing all the lights and fittings to LED and new circuit board. All our electrical things here are earthed. The first light, which hadn’t previously been working, had an earth wire that was so long it was obstructing the new light fitting attaching to the back plate, the second one was too short and the third one had 2 earth wires and the stupid earthing point is so small it was an enormous struggle two wires attached. Of course, I couldn’t use any of the anchoring points, so I had to drill all new holes. Anyway, I finally managed to do it, but it took far longer than it should. Needless to say, a few swear words were muttered in the process

Thanks for all the good thoughts for Colin, he’s feeling almost back to normal now.

:wavey:
