Good morning lovely ladies and happy terrifically rainy Thursday!
It is raining cats and dogs here..torrential downpours. And oh so windy.
@marcy sweet for a clear sky last night and it's heartwarming you are able to help the 87 yo author get his book out by Christmas. I know it's a lot of work. Fingers crossed he makes the deadline. Wow to using his book as the astronomy bible..must be very cool indeed to work on his new book with him. I love that you love what you are doing. You have a beautiful view at your house. Wow a year already. Time does fly. I posted a piece in the random thoughts thread about this very topic. Before you know it that's it. Decades go by like minutes. Or so it seems.
@Austina thank you...and I get it about the hair. Many days I personally want to shave my head or at least cut my hair very short but Greg asks me not to because he thinks I would regret it...but I don't know if I would regret it and I just might one day. LOL yes to the other cats talking and more coming to Chez Greg lolol. This morning no cats but that is because we have torrential downpours here. We still put out all the usual wet and dry and I hope they can eat between the rain storms we are getting all day. Fingers crossed. I hate this weather in general but I hate it most for all the poor kitties living outdoors struggling to survive. Ooh that cruise from NY to Vancouver..I did the same journey. I think it was on the QE2 but not positive. If you have any downtime in NY please let me know. We will meet you in the city. It would be wonderful. But if you don't have time no worries. Glad you had fun at trivia. You are right. That is what matters and glad the sourpuss couple did not win lol.
@Slickk be safe getting to work today. This weather is treacherous
@springerspaniel hope you are having good weather and looking forward to the holiday weekend
@canuk-gal thinking of you hoping all is well
So yesterday I left two more messages with the imaging center (day before one message) and no one got back to me. So we had to make the trip late afternoon yesterday but the report was not ready. Last night they called me and it's ready. So today we hope to pick up the reports. But I don't know this weather is treacherous to drive so I hope the rain slows down. Otherwise I might not get my results til next week. I am on pins and needles but part of me doesn't want to risk getting bad news. And burying my head in the sand doesn't seem so bad lol. I am in a vulnerable state given Bobby's condition and worrying about the ferals with the weather and well a lot on my mind. Sometimes I feel like saying "Calgon, take me away........."
Have a terrific Thursday girls. Be well. Enjoy. XOXO
