Now I really did it :((

Good morning lovely ladies and happy terrifically rainy Thursday!
It is raining cats and dogs here..torrential downpours. And oh so windy.

@marcy sweet for a clear sky last night and it's heartwarming you are able to help the 87 yo author get his book out by Christmas. I know it's a lot of work. Fingers crossed he makes the deadline. Wow to using his book as the astronomy bible..must be very cool indeed to work on his new book with him. I love that you love what you are doing. You have a beautiful view at your house. Wow a year already. Time does fly. I posted a piece in the random thoughts thread about this very topic. Before you know it that's it. Decades go by like minutes. Or so it seems.

@Austina thank you...and I get it about the hair. Many days I personally want to shave my head or at least cut my hair very short but Greg asks me not to because he thinks I would regret it...but I don't know if I would regret it and I just might one day. LOL yes to the other cats talking and more coming to Chez Greg lolol. This morning no cats but that is because we have torrential downpours here. We still put out all the usual wet and dry and I hope they can eat between the rain storms we are getting all day. Fingers crossed. I hate this weather in general but I hate it most for all the poor kitties living outdoors struggling to survive. Ooh that cruise from NY to Vancouver..I did the same journey. I think it was on the QE2 but not positive. If you have any downtime in NY please let me know. We will meet you in the city. It would be wonderful. But if you don't have time no worries. Glad you had fun at trivia. You are right. That is what matters and glad the sourpuss couple did not win lol.

@Slickk be safe getting to work today. This weather is treacherous

@springerspaniel hope you are having good weather and looking forward to the holiday weekend

@canuk-gal thinking of you hoping all is well

So yesterday I left two more messages with the imaging center (day before one message) and no one got back to me. So we had to make the trip late afternoon yesterday but the report was not ready. Last night they called me and it's ready. So today we hope to pick up the reports. But I don't know this weather is treacherous to drive so I hope the rain slows down. Otherwise I might not get my results til next week. I am on pins and needles but part of me doesn't want to risk getting bad news. And burying my head in the sand doesn't seem so bad lol. I am in a vulnerable state given Bobby's condition and worrying about the ferals with the weather and well a lot on my mind. Sometimes I feel like saying "Calgon, take me away........."

Have a terrific Thursday girls. Be well. Enjoy. XOXO

Hello lovelies

Ugh to the rain, we are now in Stage 4 water restrictions AGAIN. Of course that won’t stop the selfish people from watering their grass, they think people won’t know - it’s pretty obvious to those of us with straw who’s watering and who’s not! I hope you’ve got your results by now and it’s all good @missy. Unfortunately, our flight to NY doesn’t get us in till early evening, and we’re only there for the night. We may in NY again next year, this time ending up in NY instead of departing, so would have more time.

Another hot one today, did the food shopping and then went in the pool this afternoon.

Renewed the car tag online - can you believe it’s been 2 years since we got Blanche?

Hope all the lovely NIRDIs are doing well :wavey:

Hi NIRDI’s!

@Austina different color roots are so noticeable. A long time ago I was using something called summer blonde that kind of lightened your hair - it was probably some kind of bleach. I’d use it in the winter and generally dried my hair in the sun in the summer that bleached my hair out anyway. We had a warm spring so I was drying my hair in the sun after using the summer blonde. It turned my hair very orange. The hair sytlist had to finally bleach my hair to cover it up. I haven’t messed with my hair since. We’ve never let our Audis or Porsches go past their warranty, but we decided we would with this one. They have 4 year / 40,000 mile warranty. But since I can’t say we’ve had trouble with them, I am willing to keep this one since it has such low mileage. I go get my service in the summer, I might have them put in a new battery, but other than that it should be good to go. It doesn’t seem like you’ve had your car 2 years already. I can’t believe we’ve been here 10 months already. No, everything is not taken care of yet. The stuff in the garage that Marty shoved in the RV hasn’t been unpacked yet. There are things in the unfinished part of the basement not unpacked. Marty still have to finish the bathroom downstairs. It’s only framed in so far. We’ll get there - someday. Working on that book has been interesting. I used a lot of this guys stuff when I was teaching. It’s kind of cool that I exchange emails with him now. A cruise from New York to Vancouver sounds like a fun trip.

@missy the beauty about cutting off our hair, it’ll grow back. I have an appointment next week and I am considering that as well. I let it grow quite a bit, It’s down past my shoulders now and I forgot what a PITA long hair can be especially since I have a lot of hair. It has been cool working on a book that I own and used over the years. Time does fly and drag at the same time. I hope your got your results and they are good.

I didn’t get to take any pictures last night. Our router that got blown off the wall by the wind last week quit working. My scope connects to my phone with WiFi. All of Marty’s stuff is hard wired so he was able to take pictures, but not me. He needs to get a router to put out there. Darn.

We got our row of seedlings planted today. Marty is out watering them now. That means we’ll get rain. They are coming to put up our permanent decoration lights tomorrow morning. Marty agreed that 7 a.m. is okay to start. WTH? They probably want to get going before it gets too hot or windy. Marty is at the gym in the morning, so I need to get around before then and get my car out of the garage. Phooey. But it’s a good thing for me to get around early because hopefully the dentist can get me in. I cracked a tooth. Fun for me. It’s the same tooth (on the opposite side) that cracked past the gum a few years ago. I hope that isn’t the case on this one. I was making myself oven nachos and cooked them too long. I use 3 ounces of hamburger, cheese and two broken up crispy taco shells and bake them in the oven. Guess, I won’t make that for supper anymore. Gosh darn it. The tooth doesn’t hurt but I am aware of it. I hate to try and jiggle it around much to see what’s going on.

I worked on videos most of the day and got my lifting done. Yay.

Take care.
Marcy

HI:

HOLY hanna. Brutal work day. :wall::wall::wall: With a capital B. Glad (GLAD?) this doesn't happen often. That all...that's the post. nite

very tired--Sharon

Good morning lovely ladies and happy friYAY!!!!! And happy almost Memorial Day weekend

@Austina next time maybe..it would be so lovely to see you and Colin again. It's been years. Sorry about the drought. Those are no fun. The only good thing about rain rain rain is we don't have a water shortage but I know all too well the way this goes. Next month we might. No predicting it. I hope you get much needed rain soon. Wow two years since you got Blanche. Time is speeding by and I want it to slow down a bit. Enjoy a great FriYAY XOXO

@marcy thanks. But my hair isn't really growing or at least I don't think it is. My ferritin is almost in the single digit range and that is why but due to a genetic mutation I cannot supplement with iron and being a vegan is not doing me (or my ferritin levels) any favors. But I feel OK and the doctors don't know how to treat this and neither do I (despite lots of research on my part) so we are leaving it be for now. I saw a hematologist and he was stumped (second opinion hematologist). As usual I stump my physicians lol. Not on purpose believe me. I wish I was just an average normal person but no such luck  OH no about the router and I hope that gets fixed soon so you can take photos. Good job doing all your planting...sweet Oy to cracking a tooth,,,I hope you can see the dentist today..fingers crossed and I hope you are not in any discomfort. Glad you got your lifting done (my turn today) and worked on your videos...happy friYAY and good luck at the dentist XOXO

@canuk-gal ugh to a brutal work day and I am glad it is over and you have a nice weekend to look forward to and I am also relieved for you it doesn't happen often XOXO

@Slickk happy holiday weekend..unreal what happened in DC. Just unreal. I have to much to say but not allowed here. We deserve peace every bit as much as any other people. The way the media twists it all is sickening and the way people swallow the lies even more sickening. Shame on all of them. The elephant in the room no one wants to talk about is if the virus is not rooted out soon and if people are not held accountable the USA will be far worse than Nazi Germany ever was. Forget about importing terrorists. We have our own home grown domestic terrorists right here. Who are happy to attend jihadist training camps.Like Columbia, Harvard, UCLA, Berkeley..all ground zero for the American intifada...don't believe me? Look around. It's happening. Taking billions from Quatar laid the groundwork for all of this. The brainwashing and the hate and evil. WORDS matter and has led to all that is happening all over the world but right now focusing on the USA and if something doesn't happen we are ALL doomed. Sorry for the vent but damn I cannot believe we are in the worst episode of "Black Mirror" ever

Have a great holiday weekend sweet friend...XOXO

Hello everyone else. We had a fun time at the museum. I took lots of photos but will only share a few so as not to bore you. I always wear gloves indoors (and my brace almost 24/7) so it is challenging to take photos but I do the best I can. Those touch screen gloves don't work as well as I wish they did

The museum has dinosaurs, paintings and other artwork. It was fun. I was tempted in the gift shop lol because they had an artist's work displayed and for sale and I loved her pieces. But we are holding off because we still have so much to do in the house and we have not yet even put up all our existing artwork. Some by a famous artist we both love. So maybe in the future when we are more settled with what we are doing to the house. Anyway a lovely day despite the rain

Some photos

Enjoy a lovely FriYAY girls. XOXO

Oops forgot to share the ultrasound results

Tvu stable suspected adenomyosis but stable since first diagnosed 2020
Lining 3mm

Thyroid ultrasound not as great. Ti-rads 4 which is suspicious for cancer with a 2 mm calcified nodule
Waiting for endocrinologist to read it and hopefully contact me. I’m not reaching out to him because it’s a holiday weekend and there’s no rush. Radiology conclusion was no follow up but I read about tirads 4 and according to medical literature tirad level 4 always necessitates follow up evaluation. The scale only goes to 5 which is cancer. 4 is suspicious for cancer

Anyway that’s it. Enjoy a beautiful Friyay girls
@Inked enjoy cycling. Hopefully we can cycle too. Very threatening out there at the moment. Skies are about to open up and pour and HVAC guys just arrived

GM girls and happy Caturday Saturday!
We had a great cycling day and did not get wet yay
We cycled a lot of miles and the temps were cold to start (50s and a bit misty) but it warmed to 62 and the sun peeked out from time to time warming things up when it did

Good morning @Slickk @springerspaniel @marcy @Austina @canuk-gal @MamaBee @Jemi hope you are having a good start to the weekend and to all who honor the day..Memorial Day

FriAYAY was filled with yay for us
We enjoyed a sweet treat 1/3 into the ride

Screen Shot 2025-05-24 at 5.53.52 AM.png

Enjoyed the beautiful crisp dry weather for a change

Screen Shot 2025-05-24 at 5.58.08 AM.png

Near the end of the ride we ran into our friends (Nora and P) and then more friends kept joining us as we were chatting... Kari and her son and then more friends (Clodette and then her husband joined us) and we were all chatting for an hour and a half so by the time we got home it was way past the kitties mealtime and I felt guilty. Time really flies when you are chatting with friends/neighbors

Politics came up and Nora got so nervous (she is a middle of the road democrat who voted democrat and has TDS but I still love her)...and she pulled me aside and whispered to me not to discuss because one of her neighbors who stopped to join the convo when they saw us (everyone knows Greg and me from the tandem even if we don't know them lol) was not on the same side as we are...and Nora was very worried. Her neighbor is pro palestinian (and it pains me to say pro palestinian generally means anti Jew) but I had a lovely conversation with her (I did tell her I am jewish because the murders of that couple in DC is weighing heavily on my mind) and she expressed sympathy and said it was awful. She is from Lebanon.

Yet despite our differences we still had a great conversation (no politics were discussed for the most part). Turns out she also went to Barnard and graduated just a few years before me. And she grew up in Brooklyn. So we had a lot in common and our conversation gives me hope.

Rational people should be able to calmly discuss this. My hope is one day somehow there will be peace for everyone but in my brain I doubt it. My heart holds out hope though. Anyway it was a good end to a good day and the weather held out. Purrrrfect

Have a great day lovely ladies. Be well. Enjoy XOXO

Hello lovelies

I’m so glad you we’re able to enjoy a good ride yesterday @missy, and YES, sane, rational people can be on opposing sides of an issue without resorting to name calling and assuming that everyone else is stupid or wrong. It’s a shame more people aren’t like that. Yum to ice cream, we could’ve have done with some yesterday, but are being good.:D We often used to experience the same issue when we were out with Dottie, people would stop to ask about her and a 10 minutes trip to get a newspaper would turn into an hour and a half. Of course we didn’t mind, we were happy for people to pet her.

It was a scorcher yesterday, 94 degs. We did a bit of gardening first thing, then went in to the pool. We both managed to get a hair cut yesterday afternoon, much needed in both cases.

Lots of pool time on the cards for this weekend, we’ll be FT our friends tomorrow morning, and then just relaxing.

Have a great weekend lovely NIRDIs :wavey:

Good morning girls and happy big and small dog Sunday!

@Austina 100% agree. The world truly has gone mad. Insane. Would you believe the other day no animals were involved when we were chatting for over 90 minutes? I totally agree with you about having animals and stopping for those who want to say hey...I always say to Greg if one has animals one needs to expect to share the love lol. But the other day Nora left Jenny at home when she and P went for a walk because Jenny was all walked out lol. This neighborhood is just super friendly. Really. Everyone we have met here so far is quite nice and it's one of the things I enjoy about being here. I am not a people person but I like these people lol. I hope your weather cools off soon and in the meantime you are enjoying your beautiful pool. Have a good FT today XOXO

Hello @Slickk we are having gorgeous weather woohoo. I know you are enjoying the weekend to the max and hope that continues hugs to Bear XOXO

@springerspaniel hope you are having a terrific weekend

Hello everyone else. Hope all is well. We had a 70 mile bike ride yesterday and it was great.

Screen Shot 2025-05-25 at 6.11.27 AM.png

Very windy but we enjoyed our cycling and got an incredible workout too and I don't often say that when we are cycling. But yesterday was very energetic pushing against that wind. We enjoyed delicious ice cream and wonderful company too...it was M's 36th birthday and Jimmy (M's dad) was there too and he said I look no older than M. I was like no way but it was still a nice compliment. Albeit way too generous. I look my age and I am OK with that. Though sometimes I am like what the heck happened...In my head I am still in my 30s but dayum not even close to that in real life. I look in the mirror and it does not match how I feel on the inside. Not even close.
I know I am always saying this but the decades have FLOWN by.

Wishing you all a glorious Sunday and thank you to all who have served this country.
This Memorial Day weekend we remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

"Land of the free because of the brave"
and
"May we never forget the cost of freedom"

Forever grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country
Thank you

HI:

I have no idea how my life has been reduced to errands. This place, that place. Ridiculous to make 5 different stops a day. OKOKOK I did stop at 5 different shoe stores yesterday to find the perfect pair of sneakers.....but that's not the point. :saint:

I went out to buy pots today and the balcony boxes were ALL gone. I was there last week and lots to be had.....but our temps have improved so that drives the market. I bought a climbing rose and need some top soil, so I'll venture out in the next two days to get potting soil and check for balcony boxes. They were so beautiful, now I kick myself I didn't buy one last week and put it inside cuz the temps were pretty low to have left it outdoors.

We rode yesterday and today--temps good despite the winds. The weather this week is predicted to be sublime.....may it turn out so!!! DH will golf. I plan on acqu-asize tomorrow AM.

Dunno why my lower back is sore, but it is. Sunday supper is in the oven, so all is good when DS comes over.

cheers--Sharon

Good morning girls and happy marvelous Memorial Day to all those who honor it

@canuk-gal aww sorry you missed out on the balcony boxes but hopefully they will restock soon. Yesterday was windy for us too but today the wind is much lighter. But any day we get to cycle is a good day in my book...and yay for your upcoming beautiful weather..enjoy
And I hope your back feels better soon. I know I injure myself in my sleep so my body doesn't need an excuse to hurt itself lol

@Slickk happy holiday...I hope you have a most lovely day

@springerspaniel good morning. Have a wonderful Memorial Monday

Hello everyone else. We cycled 70 miles again yesterday. Windy but sweet weather and I am very happy to be cycling. Rain is coming mid week but I am enjoying each day. Hope you are too. XOXO

Sweet Jasper laying on me last night :kiss2:
(excuse my gloved hands getting in the way..it is not easy taking photos with gloves as I have learned over the past 8 months)

Hello lovelies

Sorry you didn’t find what you wanted @canuk-gal, I managed to find a pair of trainers (that’s what we call sneakers) last week for our upcoming trip, we’re going to be doing a fair amount of of walking, and mine are just about worn out.

Wow, you really clocked up the miles @missy, I’m sure my legs would be jelly after that. No wonder you can eat all that ice cream and not out on any weight

It was lovely here yesterday, we FT our friends, then went in the pool in the afternoon.

Weather’s a bit iffy today, we had rain this morning, and it’s been a bit dull today, so we didn’t go in the pool. Did I mention that we bought a Robo window cleaner? They charge $300 here just to do the outside  We set it up this afternoon and tried it out, so far I’m really impressed, we’re doing the inside first, as we’re expecting rain this week. Now all I need is a robot to do the cooking, and I’m all set

Absolutely no plans for this week, we’ll see what comes along.

:wavey:

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!

27C glorious degrees here! DH went golfing and I did the pool/gym this AM. Then I did check out another greenhouse and found my balcony boxes! Lots, so many to choose from! Mind you they were not as robust as the other ones, but very nice regardless. I see there is a severe thunderstorm watch in our forecast...hope it passes us by.

@Austina I have at least 6 pair of runners to work out in and Mizuno are always my brand of choice. The sneakers I wanted are for work and casual dress--style and function. Found some gorgeous metallic Remonte sneakers--comfy, and very pretty. I like that German brand. Glad you got what you wanted.

@missy you are the cycle queen! Keep up the good work! How is the reno estimate coming along?

@marcy I hope winter is entirely behind you and that clear skies are in your future.

cheers--Sharon

Good morning lovely ladies and happy terrific Tuesday!

@Austina true. If I did not cycle and do the treadmill and weights I would be huge lol but mainly I love cardio and weights because it is my kind of meditation and allows me to quiet my mind. Blissful. Glad you enjoyed FT with your friends and then the pool. Your Robo window cleaner sounds very interesting. We had a (forget the name) Robo thing to vacuum but I never used it much as I found vacuuming myself was more efficient and effective but one that cleans windows...I am down with that. Let us know what you think after using it for a while. I am intrigued. Just remembered the name of our robo vacuum..Roomba. The cats did not like it haha..standoff between Tommy and Roomba a number of years ago

Screen Shot 2025-05-27 at 5.45.59 AM.png

@canuk-gal would you believe he never got back to us? Told us two weeks for an estimate and it has been over a month. I told Greg no chasing people to hire them no. We will find someone else. I am not in any rush and in the meantime all this decluttering (not nearly done) is really helping free up space and make things more aesthetically pleasing. YAY for finding your balcony boxes. Sweet

@marcy hope you enjoyed a good holiday weekend

@springerspaniel we are almost in June...we had a few nice weather days but rain is coming tomorrow supposedly for at least five days..boo. But it was a good run for as long as it lasted and I hope you have been enjoying beautiful lovely days too

Hello everyone else. Another 70 miles yesterday woohoo. I told Greg not to worry though as I dont expect this to be the new normal. It's just when the weather is purrrrfect I want to cycle all day lol.And Greg is a great DH because he will always try to accommodate me and make me happy. What more could I ask for? Unfortunately after today rain rain rain rain rain but we are enjoying each day to the max and will continue to do so. Lots of indoor stuff we have to do that I never want to do lol

Speaking of sweet

Screen Shot 2025-05-27 at 5.41.21 AM.png

We brought out the big flag for yesterday :)
Had to remove the cat flag to make room as we usually have a smaller USA flag and our cat flag flying together

Screen Shot 2025-05-27 at 5.41.31 AM.png

Enjoy a terrific Tuesday lovely ladies XOXO

Hello lovelies

What a night! We had a tornado warning, followed by severe weather warning for thunder and lightning, followed by a flood warning! We had a hellava storm, ear splitting thunder, so much lightning, and lots of rain. Thankfully no damage here, and so glad we had the lightning rods installed.

I love my Roomba @missy, and I’m so impressed with the window vac. I’m working my way round the inside as were due more rain this week. Woohoo, to another mammoth ride. What’s wrong with people? Why do they waste your time coming to quote and then not bother to get back to you? Did you see that a Swiss company is doing research into a bone regeneration compound?

Yay to getting the window boxes you wanted @canuk-gal. What are you planting them up with? I think I’ve had Mizuno golf gear in the past.

Weather’s been considerably calmer today, so after doing some cleaning and ironing, we spent a while in the pool this afternoon. It was perfect weather, and the pool was 90 degs.

Rain is predicted for the morning, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to mow tomorrow.

Hope all the lovely NIRDIs are well and safe :wavey:

Good morning lovely ladies! Happy wonderful Wednesday!

@Austina I love it in concept. But I guess with our kitties and different levels etc it just doesn't work as well as it does for others. I did see that research...fascinating. Oh tornado warning BOO. TG no damage. I find those storms super scary. Yes I agree. What happened and why didn't he give us an estimate as promised. Glad your weather is calmer now. Ours is crappy and will be for a number of days speaking of boo. As in boohoo lol

@Slickk good morning...are you finished with school yet? I am sorry I don't remember...have a great day

Hello everyone else. Hope all is well and your week is going smoothly

We had an exciting day starting with the morning...
Greg came upstairs yesterday morning as I was working out and informed me our hot water heater was broken and leaked all over the basement floor. He cleaned it up. Called Chris our plumber who answered the phone and he promised to come yesterday and install a new one.

Long story short we went cycling and he did come and it took him over 3 hours but he installed it...success. Not including the trip to buy a new one which was an hour away...thank you Chris! A guy who does what he says. He is a star. And we met his new dog Maggie...a LOVE

Screen Shot 2025-05-28 at 5.53.18 AM.png

While Chris was replacing the hot water heater we cycled 75 miles but I will admit it was in anticipation of no cycling probably for the next 6-7 days. Hello NE weather lol. We went to BaY head and Mantoloking. I love these seaside towns. Quaint and from a different era

75mileswoohoomay2025.png

Not bad for our collective age of126 plus years hahaha

So we have rain in our forecast for the foreseeable future. We will get a lot of stuff done but no cycling sadly.

@canuk-gal hope I get to enjoy cycling through you vicariously

Have a great day girls. Be well. XOXO. Leaving you with our sweet treat...one day we will enjoy together in person

GM girls and happy terrific Thursday! We gave Gracie her meds. And did all the morning chores. Now I have to go workout but wanted to wish you all a wonderful day. Yesterday we ran errands and got a lot done and while it is still raining this AM it might clear and if it does we will cycle. Rain coming back tomorrow into Saturday so hopefully we can ride today...but we shall see

Have a terrific Thursday lovely ladies @Slickk @marcy @Austina @canuk-gal @springerspaniel @Inked @Jemi @MamaBee and everyone else. XOXO

Hello lovelies

Oh no @missy, it’s just one thing after another. So glad you managed to get it fixed quickly. TG for a reliable plumber. His pup is just too cute, did I tell you the couple behind us have two Goldies, and we love seeing them playing together? I’m glad you got out yesterday and I hope it cleared up today so you could ride.

We did end up cutting the grass yesterday, we had more heavy rain during the night but the ground just sopped it up. We went in the pool after, ate later and went to Trivia.

We got a lot done today, Colin had his crown fitted, we dropped off clothes to the charity bin, got the shopping done, got Colin’s glasses fixed, fixed the doorbell, went in the pool, then came in and had dinner. It’s calm at the moment, just hope it stays that way.

There’s been a lot of flooding and damage, thankfully not too close to us, the winds were so strong yesterday, it shattered glass doors at the airport

I can’t believe it’s Friday again tomorrow

:wavey:

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!

Kinda pooped from working, luckily it wasn't too bad this week. I have enuf stress in my life without needing it from work! Just a drive by since I'm ready to zzzz.

@Austina the boxes are already populated with flowers and they look pretty nice already. In fact my rose is ready to pop!

@missy you rock at 70 miles!!! WOW!

Nice hot week and weekend. YES!!!!!!!!

cheers--Sharon

GM girls and happy fantastic FriYAY!!!!

@Austina yes we got to cycle yesterday thanks. And TG for a reliable plumber. Worth every penny that he answered the phone and replaced it the same day. Cannot ask for more. Ooh I didn't know you had two goldens as neighbors. Lucky lucky. Glad Colin got his crown and you both enjoyed the pool and then trivia. Hoping the skies remain calm for you. Our weather will not be calm later and I am not looking forward to it. Enjoy a lovely friYAY and wonderful weekend

@canuk-gal thanks..it's really fun for us and allows me to feel free..it's sort of my meditation. YAY for a nice hot weekend girl. Enjoy

@Slickk happy FriYAY sweet friend...hope you enjoy a most wonderful weekend

@springerspaniel almost June...have a great weekend and I hope all is well

@marcy HAPPY HAPPY birthday sweet friend (((((((HUGS)))))))))

Good morning everyone else. Have a fantastic FriYAY and a wonderful weekend

We did cycle yesterday and it was great. The skies looked threatening but we forged ahead and we lucked out as we did not get rained upon. Today we might lol..but we are planning on cycling anyway unless it is raining before we leave. Later today and tomorrow huge storms with thunder lightning and winds. I do not like storms. I worry about the outdoor cats and I worry about losing power and damaging the house. But fingers crossed everyone will remain well and safe. Have a great FriYAY lovely ladies. Be well. Enjoy. XOXO

Jimmy loaded us up yesterday...he said he didn't think he'd see us because of the weather hahaha cmon Jimmy. You know us better than that

Sweet FriYAY all

A short birthday poem for our very own sweet and dear @marcy

Today is the birthday of our sweet Marcy dear
That's right can you believe it has been another year

On this special day we just had to come and say
How terrific you are in so many different ways

You are warm and caring, sweet and kind
Always here for your friends no matter what the time

You love diamonds and gems
and the stars and the sky
No one's photography skills
could ever surpass your expert eye

Their beauty and dazzle are truly something to behold
But cannot compare with your inner beauty when truth is really told

Happy Birthday sweet Marcy
Wishing you all the very best

Not just a day filled with laughter and love
But lasting the whole year plus

Happy birthday today and sending you lots of love and hugs
From the NIRDI girls, the teddy bears, the bunnies and the whole crew
Today is your special day but with you here with us every day is special too

Love you Marcy!!!
We really really do!!!!!

GM girls and happy Caturday Saturday! I slept in today...Greg got up and fed all the kitties and did not wake me and when I opened my eyes this morning it wa 5:15AM...Late for me lol

@marcy I hope you had a fantastic birthday and an even better birthday weekend sweet friend...nice chatting with you yesterday and I hope you got all your work done and now can play...and may your weather cooperate

@Slickk woohoo it's the weekend...enjoy

Good morning @Austina @springerspaniel @Scandinavian @canuk-gal @MamaBee @Sunrises Sunsets @Jemi and everyone else.
Hope all is well

We did get to cycle yesterday despite the pretty large rain threat and we lucked out once again. It was over a 50% chance of rain but we decided to go for it.

Greg rescued a sweet baby turtle as we were cycling...at the relative beginning of our ride

Greg wanted to tempt fate and get ice cream and I decided OK we will probably regret this...but we didn't regret getting the ice cream because the skies didn't open up til we cycled into our driveway 55 miles later woohoo. Today however is a rain event all day (thunderstorms so that is a different story) but we have to scrutinize the hourly forecast and radar before we know for sure it's a no go

May your day be sweet and filled with adventure and cheer XOXO

GM girls and happy big and small dog Sunday! And happy happy June!

We went cycling yesterday woohoo
There was a huge threat of rain but we lucked out
We skipped ice cream because we stayed north to be closer to home in case it started thundering and storming
It was a lovely cycling day
Today is cooler and very windy but dry so another day of cycling yay

GM @Slickk @Austina @marcy @Scandinavian @canuk-gal @springerspaniel @Inked @MamaBee and everyone else
Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful and fun weekend
XOXO

Pepsi and Fresca enjoyed hanging out yesterday in the backyard. Makes me so happy to see them content and safe
