Newbie buys a diamond- Did he spend 2 Much?

So I just bought a princess cut diamond. I soent some time reading alot of the posts here to get an idea of what is important. Basically it sounded to me like cut was the most important thing. Since I am flying to Spain to propose, and am not 100% sure about the out come, I opted to buy at Blue Nile becuse they have a 30 day, return policy, so I probably paid more than I would have some where else. Any way it was one of thier signature cut diamonds, and set ne back around 6400. I am not sure if that is a very good deal, but I plugged the numbers into the calculator at David Atlas''s web site and it rated the cut a 1A.

Any thoughts on whether the price was decent, or did pay way too much?
