New Ruby Ring!

I posted this in the Colored Gem Stone forum too cause I think that is where it belongs. But I thought maybe I''d just throw out a pic here too. I wanted some comments on what you guys thinks. Since the ring was bought on a whim. (My dad bought it from me in Bangkok as an engagement gift but I wasn''t expecting it so I didn''t have a chance to do any ruby purchasing research!)

I think that it looks nice, but again I have no idea! What do you guys thing?

Specs: 1.6 ct ruby, 0.13 diamonds, 18k white gold setting.
