New Heidi Gibson Ballerina ring and Emma Krafft band.

So I’ve actually had these for weeks and I’ve been meaning to share but life has been crazy. Anyways I posted a little bit in the color gemstone forum about my journey to the Heidi Gibson ring. I had been wanting one for years. When my husband and I originally got engaged she was just starting to become popular. I wanted one of her rings so badly but I knew that we couldn’t afford it so I didn’t even mention it to him. Fast forward about 10 years later and our financial situation has totally changed (as I knew it would) and I’ve never quite been able to get her rings out of my mind. My five year old son knows how much I love jewelry and has been telling me for quite some time that he’s going to bring me a yellow sapphire ring (yellow is my favorite color). I finally decided “why not” and set out to have a Heidi ring made with a yellow sapphire. My yellow sapphire search took some time because I wanted something truly spectacular but I also wanted more of a petite scale since I’m a mom of 2 crazy little boys and tend to wear things more often when they fit in with my lifestyle. I ended up finding a spectacular 1.40 ct Unheated canary yellow sapphire from the rare gemstone company. It was absolutely perfect. When Heidi sent me a video of the completed ring, I had my husband show it to my son and ask him if he wanted to buy the ring for mommy. Of course he said yes and was very excited to surprise me with the ring when it came. The ring is absolutely perfect and it’s so me. I was searching for a special band to pair with it and I came across the band from Emma Krafft co. The flowers on the band remind me of the overall shape of the Heidi ring and the bees are actually an inside joke between my son and I so it was absolutely perfect. I had Emma engrave “mama” inside the ring. To be honest I absolutely love the band but I have been wearing it more on my right hand because I feel like when it’s paired with the ring I don’t get to enjoy it as much because the diamonds cover a lot of the band. So it’s pretty much become a right hand daily ring and I plan on getting a yellow sapphire eternity band to pair with my Heidi ring.
