I just received this pretty little sapphire and diamond eternity. It has milgrained edges and wheat engraving on each side. There are approx. .5 carat sapphires and .5 carat diamonds in 18k white gold. I stumbled across it on ebay and got it through a best offer very cheaply. Especially when comparing to the Signed Pieces bands I''ve been lusting over.

I want to wear it with my lucida style Mark Morrell 8mm sapphire. Do the two styles conflict? I must say the color of the sapphires match very nicely.

What do you think?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR SETT!!!!!! Tell me about the ering :)

It''s not my actual ering, but I like to wear it when I want less bling. The sapphire is a native cut from thailand, heat treated, and I had it in my hoard for quite a while. Not long ago, when Angeline was looking to upgrade her ring, she had this Mark Morrell setting. I bought it and had my stone set. Voila!! My very own (albiet second hand) Mark Morrell.

I''ve just been looking for the perfect band to wear with it. I have a 3mm plain wg Benchmark band, but find I can easily see the difference between the platinum and the gold. Since this little eternity was such a steal, I thought I''d try it out. I think I love it, but want to hear what others have to say.

Here''s the regular band I''ve been wearing. Can you see what I mean about the difference between the white gold and the platinum. It''s not the color or the shine, but somehow the platinum has more visual depth to it.

Beautiful .... which one is Platinum and which is gold

Very pretty. I like them together. The Mark Morell is very subdued and the eternity is a nice contrast.

Oh I love it!

Love it!! They look great together!
I love your Mark Morrell setting, and I love the color of your sapphire!

Upgradeable, I actually love the two styles together! I love the not-quite-matchy look of the milgrained band with the smooth elegance of the MM setting.

Oh, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! It''s so delicate and really enhances your solitaire!

I love the new band with your ering - gorgeous set!

Those rings do not match, but they look surprisingly good together. Beautiful blues! I say wear them in good health!!
