Need Your Opinion About Ring

Me and my fiance'' went shopping Saturday for e-rings. He doesn''t have a big budget because he doesn''t make alot of money. So I was trying to find something that was pretty and reasonable that sparkled. So we went to Rogers and Holland to see a ring that I''ve had my eye on for quite some time. It''s called the Iris and it''s a .50 tw. The center stone is between .30 - .36 but looks bigger when I put it on. Please let me know what you think of it. It''s so pretty and I love the way the sides are made. She told me that your ring isn''t done until you put the band on with it. She put the band on with the ring and it was absolutely gorgeous.

I''ve attached a copy of the ring. If anybody has this ring please post pictures of it on your hand. I want to see them.

How exciting for you! I think that ring you posted is very pretty. I have never heard of the name of the store you mentioned...but I don''t get out of my little comfort zone much...it is just unknown to me and my region.

You will find many psers try to find a really great cut stone in their budget and just put it in a placeholder plain ring until they can find a setting they want and have more to budget with. But in your case, I think you really are more attracted to the setting and you have found a sweet spot of happiness there. So that is great!

That intertwined row of diamonds reminds me of some highly coveted Tacori designs. So your ring may remind others of the same. I think the most important thing is that you will be happy with and have pride in wearing it. If all those points are met...it is a win win! Yahoo!! Congrats on this exciting time in your life! I trust there will be many others to follow!

Hello Coreysgirl, just wanted to let you know that I do think that is very pretty. I also wanted to say that Rogers and Hollands is a pretty good store for being a Mall store as we call it on PS. I have purchased stuff from them and would probably say that would be the only store that I would purchase from in my mall here in Indiana. They also have a very good policy on diamonds as long as you keep up with your checks every 6 months. They offer a 30 return policy, plus they will size and Rhodium coat your ring for free as long as you have it. So I think that is a good choice and on a tight budget could definitely work! That mounting is so pretty and with the right diamond, you can turn "pretty" into "gorgeous" no matter what the size stone.

I think that the ring you posted is very pretty! I am familiar with Rogers and Hollands, we have Ashcroft & Oak here in Ohio which is one of their stores as well. I do think that they have nice jewelry as well. If this is the ring that you both loved, then I think it sounds like a wonderful choice!

I feel so much better about the size of the diamond now. I know it''s not tradition to propose to your guy but I did. I finally found my soulmate and I wanted to propose. So because I proposed I didn''t get a ring and we agreed I would get it for Valentine''s Day this year. So I''ll have it Thursday and I''ll make sure to post pictures Friday.
