Hi, Guys:

Just wondering if you guys have some recommendations for trustworthy diamond dealers on 47th Street (NYC). Over the weekend, we stopped by a few places as recommended on Yelp (Kent, Michael F, Jangmi etc) but was wondering if you guys have anyone you've had good experiences with.

Thank you for your help!!! :twirl:

ID Jewelry
Engagement Rings Direct
Leon Mege
Steven Kirsch

A couple of them are in the same building. I have personally worked with IDJ and ERD and both are great.

Perry at Leon Mege was very good to work with and I love the diamond I bought there.

ERD
Diamond Ideals (Megan), west 48th st.

I've used Mark at ERD for many projects and have referred several happy friends to him.

I went to the Diamond District over the past weekend as well! I only got to visit Ben Moses, really friendly and honest father and son jewelers. I'm thinking of visiting Jangmi in the next few weeks with my gf. How was your experience at Jangmi?

Does ERD do walk ins?

I would call first since they're in an office.

You need to call and make appointments with Leon Mege/Perry Chen and Steven Kirsch as well if you want to meet with them.

What specifically are you interested in?

personal friend

Harvey Nagin owns 66 West 47th Called Nagin Jewelry. He has a tiny booth because he is still in the business because he loves it not because he has to.......it is on the main floor ..(212) 719-2185

Tell him Heidi sent you.

I've been to Jangmi. They have many H&A rounds that score well on HCA. Their prices are not the best, though.

I've also been to IDJ- they are wonderful. Shenoa, Boris in wedding bands was very nice to me, but they have terrible reviews. I am hoping to go to ERD soon, I have heard great things.

I also highly recommend a trip to ID Jewelry.

My mother in law is giving my nephew a 1 carat RB... I have no expectations on the stone so i with his
$2,000 budget I want to put the stone in a shiny setting.

I was recommending French micropave halo as it would make the stone look larger and sparkly.

I think IDJ might be a good fit. They work with many different budgets. I love Steven Kirsch but not sure that his micropave would fit into the budget. You could always call and ask. Good luck and happy shopping!
