Need quick help deciding on this 1.7ct oval I SI2

Long time lurker first time poster.

I was able to see this in person and the bowtie effect is not nearly as bad as pictured. I chose this to maximize face up size to fit a particular setting with my restricted budget. The cut and polish are very good. My main concern is the inclusions, while this is eye clean to me without a loupe, will any of these inclusions make this stone likely to fracture or shatter? There appear to be a lot marked on the GIA cert. and I have no idea if any are serious.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I am not a long time member here.. I did have a 1.01 oval once E color VS2.. had a horrible bowtie, this one also has a bowtie.. I can see some imperfections but this stone is probably hugely blown up and may be eye clean.. I do know.. bowties eventually bug you.. I love love love ovals.. I hope this stone works out. As I said, I'm fairly new and there are many many MANY more people here who know much more than I do... happy holidays.

Its very rare for diamonds to sustain damage because of inclusions, but they can still be damaged, usually for other reasons.

Have you checked it in sunlight for inclusions? It might be more obvious in different light, or when dirty.

Did you see any other ovals to compare?

Thank you for the feedback. I looked at it indoors under the natural light and the jeweler's light. The bow tie is almost not visible and I could not see the inclusions with the naked eye (however I am not at all an expert). I compared it with two other ovals and it had the most sparkle, probably from the excellent polish or the facets. The only thing that concerned me were the amount and variety of inclusions but it sounds like I might be okay. Hoping that this will be the value I am looking for (If there is such a thing at this price) without additional risk of the stone fracturing. Any other opinions would definitely help my decision. Thanks!

Does this look like the typical amount of inclusions one would see in an SI2 or should I continue searching for something with a bit more clarity?
