Need Help with first Diamond for an Engagement Ring

Hello everyone,
its my first purchase, after searching for some days, i have found this diamond from JA.

Can you give me a professional opinion about the specifications.
Also your opinion about the strong fluorescence, if it will affect the appearance, i also included an idealscope image.

I think it’s gorgeous ... You might have some wiggle room with the clarity ... VVS1 and VVS2 are considered virtually flawless ... you could go down in clarity and go up in size or color ... but those are only some suggestions that you may have considered already.

Other than that, the proportions are all within ideal parameters and the Idealscope image looks good!

As for the fluorescence, you’ll need a set of eyes for that. I’m not sure if you can ask JA to look at the diamond for you ... if not, you can take a chance with a close eye on the return period, or you can look at alternatives. On the upside, even when strong, fluorescence rarely affects transparency. You could even consider going down in color with strong fluorescence as there is a very good chance it would make the stone face up whiter (this effect is more pronounced the lower you go in color).

So many choices!

Are you looking for alternate suggestions? Are you committed to JA?

Thank you for your suggestions, the Price is at about 6700 USD, size at 1 c ist just fine.
If you can find a better Color and go down in clarity, i would also consider those. I was going to buy at JA because of the clear Images, no other reason.

This one is an H SI1 - I know H isn’t the direction you were thinking of going, but it hits the one carat mark and is with WF ... it is listed as “eye clean” and looks really clean to me for an SI1 ... you won’t get a price break for fluorescence with WF though as the ACAs are AGS “negligible” (which can mean it has fluorescence from none to just under medium).
