Hey again,

I'm back and looking to purchase an oval stone for my girlfriend of 5 years! I know she wants an oval stone, and preferably a rose gold setting. Originally she said she wanted a micro-pave band, but after doing some research and know her active lifestyle i don't think a micro-pave would be the best idea, but would pave be secure enough? Also, we were at a store the other day and saw a micro-pave band and she said it looked "too thin". My questions would be...
1. Would this band be "thick" enough to not look too thin (https://www.jamesallen.com/engageme...cut-pave-diamond-engagement-ring-item-41255)?
2. I've read many different articles regarding ovals measurements/guides and they all seem to be different. I was hoping someone could help me find a beautiful diamond up to ~8,000 that would go nicely with the setting above (if you think the setting would work based on what I've said) and have a great sparkle to it.
3. With a rose gold band how does this affect things that should be sought out (ie. color, table %, depth % etc.)?

Thank you all so much in advance :)

2mm is about as thin as we recommend. This band will not be thick per say but will be better than some of the 1.7-1.9 pave bands. Not knowing
the thickness of the one she thought was "too thin" hampers us from giving a definitive answer on this band. I would think that most* people would
say this band is not too think but not too thin either.

When looking at ovals be sure to look at the lxw and not just carat weight. The length and width and vary greatly. I dont really have much time to
look but I'll throw a few out there for you to look at. As you can see the smaller carat weight is larger. I did not pull these up individually and check
the clarity. Hopefully, someone else will come a long soon and help you but these should get you started.

Thank you for the quick reply! In regard to florescence, does strong vs none really matter? Does this only affect the way the stone looks under a UV light?

@cokitty thank you so much! I was in love with the 1.34 diamond you had listed and put it on hold. Unfortunately the jeweler pulled it and I was not notified for whatever reason thus leading to me missing out on purchasing (very frustrating to say the least). I was hoping maybe you could take one more look at let me know if you see anything like this (>8000) by any chance?!?
