My friend's grandmother gave her this ring before she passed away. She lost the ring a few months back, and I think it would be a great gift If I could get her a new one. Any information is appreciated! This is the only picture I have of it.

That’s beaut. You could have one custom made off the photo.

This ring instantly reminded me of my grandmothers ring as well - I would say it is from the 1940s. If you are not looking for an exact match but something that feels similar would be good enough you can search ebay for a swirl ring or leaf diamond ring. Choose used and metal type of white gold or platinum on the left side to narrow your searches. I also only look in the US since that is where I am based. These kinds of rings can be found at pawn shops as well if you would enjoy a hunt. Custom will get you a very close reproduction but custom would likely be more expensive than pre-owned and we don't know your budget for your kind gesture. Good Luck!

Here is one from Ruby Lane for $240

Here is one with a similar feel but a larger central diamond $1350

I found one even closer - in most of the photos they have it the opposite way that your friend wore hers

Thank you for taking the time to look, I really appreciate it! The last one you sent is almost a spot-on match. As you said, it's probably from the 40s making it hard to find an exact replica. It might just be easier to have one custom made as another user suggested. Once again, thank you for looking!
