Cool, thanks. How much should it cost just to verify the stone is what the cert says it is. I don't want a full appraisal or anything.

qqq

~$50 or so Id guess.
Things are more expensive out there.
You will need an appraisal of the completed ring for insurance so you might be able to arange one price for both that covers 2 visits.

Very Cool qqq Congrats, looking forward to see how your setting endeavor progresses

Received the ring yesterday. The royal asscher is gorgeous!! Also, started working with the designer who is doing my setting, should have some sketches by the beginning of next week.

I''m so excited to see it''s new home!!!!!!!

So I got some sketches of my setting yesterday from the designer. They looked so amazing, I can''t wait to see the finished product! She''s gonna do some hand engraving on the sides of the shank and the head of the setting, and filigree work on the gallery. She showed me some pics of an example from another ring she had done and it looked so delicate and unique. I am meeting her this Saturday to give her the stone, and then it will probably be a couple weeks. I can''t wait! I will keep everyone updated as the project progresses.

You might want to consider this type of ring.
Ring with 1 center stone & 2 side stones that are also asscher cuts, with cross over prongs.

Just thought I would put in a nice word for Bill Pearlman of pearlmansjewelers.com. He was an absolute pleasure to do business with, he even held off on charging me, until I had the stone checked out, which it did

He was very helpful and answered all of my questions in a very courteous and friendly manner. I would without hesitation give him my highest recommendation.
