Need help choosing a diamond

I ordered this diamond and have it already

I am thinking of exchanging it for

Do you think the 2nd diamond will be so much better than the first to justify the extra cost? My ring is beautiful and scores 1.8 on HCA.. But I keep second guessing my choice thinking the 2nd one will be much sparklier because it's a signature ideal with a smaller table. Please help!!

HCA is a rejection tool, not an acceptance tool.
HCA is only step 1 of a two-step process.

1. Reject HCA scores over 2.
2. Get Idealscope pic on rounds scoring under 2. https://www.pricescope.com/tools/ideal-scope

Compare them to this chart.



Since Bluenile does not provide Idealscope images I'd not buy from them.

I'd return that diamond to Bluenile and buy from Whiteflash, Goodoldgold, Briangavindiamonds, JamesAllen.
