Need help buying an engagement ring

The community has been great. I recently posted some separate stones in hopes of buying a stone and setting but I believe I have run out of time. I am planning to propose next week but will be out of town when I do so. I need someone that could deliver a ring by mid next week. Someone recommended posting here what I'm looking for and my budget and seeing if there are any ready made rings that show well that can be delivered overnight. Heres the details:

Budget - 3500-4000
Shape - Pear
Preferred - Halo setting but not adverse to other styles

I can push the budget just a bit if the ring warrants it. I really appreciate this forum and wish I found it earlier as opposed to going at it myself over the past few months.

first of all where are you proposing? Can you have the ring shipped to family/friend? Maybe we can recommend a B&M place that you could communicate with and pick up when you get to town.

Hi @farrahlyn Thanks for your reply. I'll be proposing in London. I wouldn't mind having the ring shipped but as I understand it, I may have to pay 20% VAT to do so. I live in South Florida.

Hmmmm, with a time crunch like this, i think ID Jewelry is a good option. Call and talk to Yekutiel and see what they can do for you. Tell them PS sent you. Excellent CS and great for working within a budget.

But, frankly. I'd focus on only finding a lovely pear and have it set in a solitaire. You can always change the setting later.

This diamond looks amazing and if DBL says its a good I2, I'm in. Ask if they can put thing in a simple solitaire with a tail prong (v-shaped). Done.

This is where DBL just freaking rocks. Fancy shapes and insane prices on stones that you can't believe are low clarity (but secretly are). Amazing job and I'm so excited that you got such a lovely stone!!!
