My specs are to get a 1.5 colour F triple excellent diamond (I really don't want to go to SI1 because it gets SOOO much more expensive).

I wanted to get your thoughts about a diamond:

I want something that will not have apparent inclusions to a naked eye and no large cloudiness. This performed very well on the HCA calculator as well.

I will let the experts weigh in on your selection, but I would drop color to a G or H to improve clarity. The SI2 looked like it had some clouds, and while I don’t know how apparent they would be in person, it just doesn’t look like a particularly clean stone.

This will have apparent inclusions to the naked eye. I REALLY suggest going SI1, unless you have a trusted vendor to look at them for you (like ID jewelry, for example), who can find "unicorn" SI2s.

Whats your budget?

I agree, I would absolutely drop to G color to bring clarity up to SI1 at least. Inclusions like the ones in the stone you linked likely will interfere with the light performance of the stone. I prefer VS for mental reasons, but there are very nice SI1's if you look. I'd personally never pair a really high color stone with a really low color clarity. I'll tell you that if you ever go to sell, an H VS2-SI1 is going to be easier to sell than an F SI2 with inclusions like the one above.

Wow thank you so much for the quick feedback. I didn't know what you expect. My budget is 10,000 - 12,000 (CAD) so 7000-8200 (USD).

Should I come down in size as well? Looking for a pave setting round cut 4 prong
