Well i am doing a semi custom e-ring playing off the idea of a claddagh. There is going to be engraving and an antiqued look like there is on this ring http://www.whiteflash.com/golden-wardrobe/zoom.aspx?ItemCode=MRE7055-34 . What do you guys think of the idea? Any changes you think I should make?

Very pretty and unique with the claddagh incorporated into the sides.

It looks very beautiful! I love pear sidestones with RB center. Can''t wait for it to be completed.

That''s an adorable ring. It looks like a perfect match for a fun loving girl!

the only thing I would change is that I personally find those sharp corners at the ends of the pairs sharp and sometimes painful. As much as I like the look of nice modern streamlined corners like that, rounded ones are more comfortable in my opinion.

Thanks everyone for the comments, as for the sharp edges thats just the way it looks in the CAD. They edges as well as the prongs will all be dulled down on the actual ring. As i understand it the CAD image is just the guideline they use to make the wax mold.

How pretty and unique. LOVE the idea. Will the heart and hands have milgrain? Where is the crown (loyalty)?

ve the claddaugh on the profile!!!!

Yes they will have millgrain. As for the crown I would have loved to be able to incorperate it into the ring somehow but I just couldn''t figure out where it could go without cluttering the ring

Maybe you could have the heart on one side and the crown on the other side? Eh, just an idea. I think it is SOOOOO GROOVY! What a creative idea -- plus RB & Pears are a sweet combo anyway. Classic & unique at the same time. Not an easy trick to pull off! Congrats!

It looks great! Can''t wait to see the finished product.

Very pretty.

very cool idea! can''t wait to see the finished piece!

wow!!

Now that I look at it again do you think I should have the hands and heart milgrain like the rest of the ring. Or should I just leave them as is

That''s what I was going to suggest - put the crown on one side and the hear on the other. I think AWESOME to incorporate the claddagh!!!! Fantatic idea!

I''d leave them as is personally. With that fine of detail you might lose some of it with the milgrain, IMO.

OMG, this is a PHENOMINAL idea! Love it!

I wonder if the crown could be incorporated into the basket seat for the center stone (above the heart)?

Ooooooh! NICE!

Very unique!

What about changing the hands to crowns instead? I think it would be very Tacori-esque.
