I''m sorry I missed this thread. Onedrop it''s going to be amazing. I can''t wait for you to get it. Love the stone and love the waxes. How exciting!!!
Okay everyone....I just got the pictures from WF. My heart is pounding right now!! I love, love, love the finished product. I will start a thread over in SMTR when I acutally get the ring in (on) hand. In the meantime here are the WF pics....enjoy!!
ETA: Belle...glad you checked in!!! Good to see you again!
Thanks for the compliments everyone! But I can''t take the credit...WF did an amazing job! Right now I am charging the battery on the camera to take pictures of the real thing! Stay tuned....
OH Onedrop! KILLER DIAMOND, gorgeous setting (LOVE that fishtail pave!) I can''t wait to see LOTS of photos... and don''t forget to show us close-ups of the head!!!
Lynn: Thank you for the compliments! I have to say that I am so glad that I chose that Aramis head. Makes the setting much more delicate looking. I would LOVE to provide more pics of the head and everything else, but I am still trying to perfect my camera skills!
For the photography experts: What is the best way to take close ups??? I am finding it very difficult. Clearly I am not camera savvy.
I am having the worst trouble getting clear close up hand shots with my digital camera. So I tried the camera on my cell phone, which worked pretty well actually. I am also not tehnically engaged yet so, so I won''t start a thread in SMTR just yet. Until such time as I receive a formal proposal...here are some semi-okay hand shots from my cell phone camera. Hopefully you can make out the detail of the basket.
Oh wow...thank you EVERYONE for the compliments! I am so embarassed , but thanks!!!
Stone Hunter: I don''t think half a carat is small now either (thank goodness). Acutally it feels perfect for me.
Lynn: Thanks for the inspiration for my little beauty by the way. I will endeavor to get more good pics for you. It has actually been fun taking photos from different angles, while at the same time finally figuring out what all those buttons and settings are for on the camera. I can''t match your camera skills.
