Yay!!!! The diamond ring I was trying to sell came back from GIA. The appraised at 1.07 G/SI1 transitional cut diamond was graded as 1.08 I/VS2 by GIA. The vendor purchased the ring and here is the diamond (still loose) sitting next to the OEC diamond that is coming to me next week. Kind of nervous and excited to see the new diamond. It has a 60 day return policy.

How exciting! Your new OEC looks huge next to your old stone! :eek2: Can wait to see more photos when you get it in-hand. Have you decided how you’ll set it?

Both diamonds are beautiful! Your OEC is gorgeous, I love the warmth and the subtle color. It looks like antique lace to me, @LisaRN ...so beautiful! I love old cuts, there is nothing like them. Excited for you! Cannot wait to see it!

Both are beautiful! What are the details of your new stone?

Thank you @stonewell, @tlfiore, @elizat! The stone is a GIA graded 2.73 carat N/VS1 OEC. The table is 51% and the depth is 59.8%. I will definitely be asking your opinions when it arrives. Here is a Stuller setting that has inspired me.

New diamond? Is that the (much) bigger one on your hand?

@foxinsox - The bigger diamond is the one I will be receiving, but the lovely hand does not belong to me. The vendor was kind enough to send that picture to me.
