#JOTW My Star Rose Quartz Ring

My Barry Bridgestock star rose quartz cabochon (6.81 ct, 14.2 x 10.2 mm) arrived today after being set by Etsy jeweler JanishJewels. The setting is 22 k yellow gold bezel, a fine silver backing for the stone, and a hammered 2 mm 18 k yellow gold band. The turnaround was super fast. She received my stone last Thursday, made the ring and posted it back to me on Friday. I would have gotten it yesterday (Monday) if I had been home.

I love this ring!!! I was driving around in the sun today, moving the star around the ring. Such fun!!!!

The color of this stone is the sweetest pink.

I want to particularly thank ma re and Chrono for encouraging me to set this stone sooner, rather than later.

Thanks, LtlFirecracker. It is just a simple bezel ring, which was exactly what I was looking for. The band is on the thin side, so it will work best if you aren''t too hard on your jewelry.

Hard to describe in one word, but I believe stunning would do

Eventhough it''s simple, that ring has enough going on (the star, 22k gold...) to really grab attention. High karat gold (my passion and obsession btw) reflects into the stone at certain angles, making it somewhat peachy (slightly more orange); just beautiful!
