It is a halo, although it doesn't have diamonds. He could get it and if she likes the diamonds, he can have it reset into a halo of her choice. JbEG has some pretty halos.

Who knows? She might like the engraved halo. It's different.

He found "the one"! Yay!

First, let me say how thankful my son and I were to have your help. He left it until the last minute (a combination of crazy long hours work schedule and a not realizing how long this stuff takes). Having everyone post listings really saved him a lot of time and gave him lots and lots of amazing options.

He has made a decision and the ring will be here for Christmas! It is being sized and delivered as early as Wednesday and no later than Friday.

He knows his girlfriend wants a halo, she adores yellow diamonds and wants an engagement ring no one else will have. I'm sure he ticked two of those boxes, and since yellow diamonds are a rarer choice then a white diamond I think he might have also ticked box #3.

There were a few thoughts about going with the 1.71 FLY in a halo, but in the end my son really liked the 1.17 FLY better.

....and just in case she would rather have a white diamond (YIKES!) my son has selected another option for her. He really wants her to be happy and is on board with whatever she wants and whatever makes her heart sing.
