Without the benefit of seeing it in person, I'm still extremely suspicious that it is a simulant (glass or CZ). It doesn't even look like lab grown/synthetic material to me. I didn't want to push it earlier since you seemed to think it was natural. But if you really did pay $3,000 for it, you should get it properly tested or return it if you are uncertain. No need to pay that price for a used mounting (do we even know if those are genuine diamonds?). What does the metal stamp say?
I can confirm that it’s definitely not glass or Zirconia. My diamond tester picks all that up. Unfortunately the stamp is non existent. Diamond tester picks up all the diamonds and they are old cuts. Only a gemologist I guess can tell me the rest.
Here’s a pic showing how transparent the stone is. Then when it’s worn the shade goes darker picking up the flashes of blue scintillation.
