Yay! I love my channel set bands. The designer asked if I wanted to go with a prong look, but I stuck with the channel. I wear them all the time (with small kids and playing sports) and they never scratch me or get in the way.

I have a 16-stone Schlumberger from Tiffany, which has more of a prong look ... I wear that if I want to be more "blingy"

Thanks vespergirl ... I hope you decide to reset soon - so we can look at more pretties!! It was so fun to do!
My husband told me when we got engaged that he never wanted me to change the setting or upgrade size etc.
If it weren''t for my orignal solitaire set in white gold, I don''t think he would''ve givien me the OK to change.
The gold was wearing thin and we decided to go platinum ... then I pushed for the baguettes I always wanted

If your going to change ... you might as well add too!!!!!

I *think* that they are each about .15, but I''m not positive.

And your ''grass is always greener'' cracks me up and I always feel the same way. I love my ring. BUT, I see yours where the baguettes meet the center stone and think hrmm......I wish mine was like that! There is someone here who has an asscher set with baguettes in yellow gold - and I love the YG. Grass IS always greener!!!!

Hi Mara54,
The camera is an Olympus 710. We got it about a year ago.
It''s been so great ... also very compact and light.
Before that, we had an Olympus 2040 and it took even better pictures, but it was big and heavy.
I''ve been taking all these pictures indoors with flash on a macro setting.
Not entirely sure what that does, but it seems to be working!

I was SO nervous about the six prongs, but since it was going to be hand made, I thought I might as well be a little different.
The baguettes are set a little higher than I would''ve preferred, but I''m more than thrilled with it overall.
