Hi all,
I have been here often collecting everyone''s opinions on my stone for pendant. If you are interested in reading about my previous threads here they are :

Purchased this stone from GOG for my pendant

Help Needed for Penant Settings !!

Need Help to pick the right stone !!

Ok. Finally, decided on 1.01 J SI2 stone from GOG. Chose to do the setting in Yellow Gold and GOG suggested this setting. I thought I will go ahead with it. Here are some pics. I am going to get the necklace tomorrow. Although, I will only wear after Sep 22nd which is our anniversary :)

Let me know what do you all think, specially the choice of metal !!

personally, im not a fan of the slidey thing on pendants but i know it''s a personal preference, i love stationary pendants. but if you want the slidey thing, that''s a great option. the project sounds like so much fun! please post final pictures.

I like the setting! I like how the bail extends down to the bottom of the setting... it''s a little different than the kind of bails that pinch in.

Oh, yes, and.... I like the choice of metal! :)

love the setting - love the yellow gold! great choices all round I say!

Personally I like the setting and I think you chose a terrific diamond! Can''t wait to see neck shots.

HI:

Looks great! The final result will be lovely...congrats

cheers--Sharon

I think it looks fantastic! I would for sure wear a necklace like that. I can''t wait to see neck pictures!! You must be so excited!

I have the "slidey thing" and I like it. I like it quite a bit. I also like the chain shown in your pic. I am an active person and I wanted my pendant to be secure. Just my 2 cents! Here''s a pic.

I think the setting is really pretty!

I forgot to say that I love yellow gold. I would have more, but I think white metals look best on my olive skintone. Both setting and metal choice is a personal preference.

Dreamer, I love your new pendant! Neck shots please!

Congrats! I love it!

I love it, great setting and gorgeous diamond!

love the pendant! :}

A further suggestion....

You might consider a pendants that has a hinge that it can open and be clipped around a chain.

With this type of design, you can also wear it on beads, or pearls. This style won''t look as good with a thin gold chain, but with "beefier" style chains it is fine, plus you have the option of using it with beads or pearl strand necklaces.

wow it is so nice!
I envy the thought of having such a large stone on my neck!!! hehehehehee

the choice of metal is totally personal. My newer things are all white gold, my stuff I got as a teen (from my fam) all yellow. Once in awhile I like to break out the yellloow :)

Oh and I like the slider. I like to change my chain length depending on the neck line of my outfit so it is good to have options.

Congratulations. It looks very very nice. Can''t wait to see your photos.

Thanks for all your responses.

I received the package yesterday and IT IS A KILLER !! I loved it. I will post neck shots sometime soon. Infact the slider, where the metal attached the pendant to the chain is so small, visible only from near and yet secure. It just highlights the diamond. And SI2 is completely eyeclean and sparkels.. Love it :)

Can''t wait to see more pics! It''s beautiful!

stunning, congrats. I am continuously impressed by the beautiful J stones on here.

So glad to hear you are thrilled with it!

We would love to see some pics when you get the chance.
