MissGotRocks & SandyCheeks – Thank you! And to answer your question…for some reason, I have never worn a wedding band, so I don’t plan on wearing one. My first couple of settings were much wider than this one, so they stood on there own. Sometimes I wish I had one after seeing all the beautiful bands on PS!

Kathness – I have never been to the SK FB page, you saw it? He sent me a couple of pictures of my ring before he sent it to me, which I thought was a nice touch. He does take nice photography!

As for the 2.3 ct stone, the most practical would be to sell it. :(( But, my husband is fine with me keeping it if I want. (I will sell the setting though). Thanks Missy and Mom2Boys for the suggestion of a pendant…I just saw a bezel pendant posted in the last couple of weeks that was beautiful, but I just don’t know if I would wear it that much (I am a scarf freak so my my neck is often covered!) I do secretly dream of having a ring with a halo though, but that is probably too “engagementy” for a RHR? Maybe if I added colored side stones? Or maybe a 5 stone RHR ring? I probably won’t do anything for another year, so I will have some planning time!! :D

Oh, I know there have been some threads on ring boxes, so here is SKs. I thought I read that he was switching boxes soon?

Round sapphire sides for the other stone!!! Or set it in something like this which includes a halo that could look more like a RHR.

This is definitely my favorite 3-stone ring. So stunning!
Is it comfortable to wear? I know some PSers re-setted theirs to some other settings due to the uncomfortableness.

Whosurdaddy - Thank you! I was super worried about comfort on this style because of the points on the v-prongs. It actually is very comfortable though! I looked at this style by another brand as well as a CAD and the points were pointy and a bit sharp on my neighboring fingers. Steven "rounds" the tips so they seamlessly flow into the shank. Even if the ring turns, the v-prongs are soft. I am very happy about that and highly recommend SK for this desgn!

Wow. Your new ring is gorgeous and it reminds me of my grandmother's 3 stone ring that I've always thought was very classy and elegant. I love the pear side stones ... and what's not to love about your huge, sparkly center stone!
