My Cat Is Evil and LOVES To Torture Me.

<-------- That one. Her name is Olivia and her greatest joy in life is being naughty. (She knows that I'll let her get away with it because she's adorable and I love her so much. Apparently I'm a future horrible parent and I didn't know it.)

Today alone she has:

1. Eaten every single leaf and several of the future beans off of 5 of my bean plants.
2. Gotten in the kitchen sink several times.
3. Jumped onto the counter and into the sink right in front of me. I tried blocking and she kept just jumping up on whatever side I couldn't block.
4. Oh and right now I'm trying to do my statistics homework and she's laying across my notebook, which is in front of the keyboard, so my arms hurt from contorting them to type my complaints.

ETA got tired of typing this way, but I meant to add that I would love to hear about your naughty pets! And pictures are of course encouraged!

I hear you on the disturbance of doing your homework. I had a cat through High School that loved to do this. I would get all my stuff laid out and I would turn around for a pencil and then there she would be- happily laying across everything. She also likes to tear apart cardboard boxes. I used to have a stack of shoe boxes, but I quickly learned that if I wanted them intact I would have to put them up on a shelf in the closet

I stayed at my mom''s recently and her cat was a riot. He''s such a sweetheart during the day, but, at 4 in the morning he thought it would be great fun to play with my hair, attack my feet, run around the room with his jingly ball, etc...

I wanted to hijack the other thread to ask about her.
What I wanted to know is whether she was a male or female. I was sure she was a male. She looks like a male. I''m not a cat person, altho I do "own" a stray cat. He comes by every day to eat. But that is a pretty cat you have. Post a bigger picture.

I have a naughty pup. She''s the princess and she rules the world. None of the other animals know it yet. She likes sneakily find socks or undies and eat them. She knows that the other pup isn''t supposed to have the treats, so she takes his when I have my back turned. She lays across my homework, because she is more important, and needs her nightly rub down. She knows that she was REALLY supposed to get the big milk bone, not grandma''s laborador, and she makes sure she gets that too. She demands petting, and will scratch her way to your spinal cord if you ignore her sitting behind you. She knows that she is supposed to get ready for her walk first, and is the first to get her harness on. She knows that her hairdresser makes her pretty, so gives her kisses and doesn''t even look back when she follows said hair dresser to the back room (no leash required here). She also knows that the fluffy pillow in the blanky bed belongs to her, not the other pup, he gets the blankets and the beach towel humph.

Chester, my evil little beast, ate nearly 1/2 a pound of salami last week...... He got up on the coffee table while we were out of the room and got it. He has also been known to shred and destroy any paper left within his reach. He LOVES to shred paper towels, magazines, etc. Always when we''re gone so we come home to a living room full of confetti and no dog in sight. He also thinks I''m his and if he''s in the room first and then DH tries to get near, he stands between us and barks. That really doesn''t sit well with DH.

Pink Tower-she''s always in my avatar but I just changed the picture. I had my Christmas avatar up until last week! She''s female and is very petite, actually. She weighs 6-7 pounds and I think most of it''s fur!

(She likes to stand on my bathroom scale but it''s not digital so I''m not sure exactly how much she weights.)

Olivia is so lucky she''s cute!

Ferris kitteh is naughty also. He knows he''s not allowed to be on the stairs, since we dont want him going down them and out the door. So at first he''d just sit on the top of the stairs. Then he''d "accidentally" knock a toy down the stairs, and *of course* he had to go down and get it. This repeats on pretty much a daily basis. Also, now his new thing is pushing his limits and sitting *one* step down. We let it fly, but I know in a few weeks, it''ll be two steps down. Little bastard!

Let''s see, this morning I woke up to:

Ezra scratching: the laundry basket, my bed, my nightstand, my dresser, my pillow, and my Kleenex.
Then he moved on to coughing up a hairball on the carpet right where I usually stand to get out of bed in the morning.
Then he ran between my legs and almost tripped me while I was trying to avoid standing in the hairball first thing in the morning.
He made a nest out of my work clothes.
Then as I was doing my hair, he played, "What can I pull off of the counter?"

The woke up Lola, the Queen of Grump, so she started meowing and didn''t stop until I left.

My two girl kitties are pretty good for the most part, but the one is always begging for food or trying to steal our food. She is a total food mooch. It's so annoying to the point that we have to put her away while we eat dinner.

This thread is too funny! So I am not a cat person, until about 2 months ago when this little monster adopted me on a snow day on the EastCoast... What was I going to do leave him out to freeze? Needless to say he and my pup are getting along brilliantly and he has the BEST personalty ever. I mean that. Like better than most of my co workers...

Ahhh elle I LOVE your kitty with his/her tongue out! ADORBS! Is that Ferris? And the step game sounds hilarious. I'm starting to give up on keeping Olivia out of the kitchen sink. It doesn't matter what I do-she gets up there anyway!

princesss-ha, Olivia doesn't puke where I get out of bed but Charles sure does! They like to tag team me! Charles also trips me. I wanna see pics of your bebes please!

Laila-my kitties are actually pretty good about begging. Olivia and Charles go bonkers for yogurt and get all up in my grill for it, but other than that they leave me alone.

MP-I know it's as long as her and as wide as her body, too! She loves to show it off!

And Madam, Willow is gorgeous! So funny that she doesn't want too many treats! What a Goldilocks!

Hey Thing... believe it or not his name is Kitty. I know real original. My border collie''s name is Boo, and if you have seen Monster''s Inc, the little girl calls the monster "Kitty" and the monster calls the little girl "Boo". So my lack or originality actually has a back story... hahah at least thats what I tell people after they look at me weird for naming him Kitty.

I could walk around the yard barefoot in safety.
My house could be carpeted instead of tiled and laminated.
All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would be free of hair.
When the doorbell rings, it wouldn''t sound like a kennel.
When the doorbell rings, I could get to the door without wading through fuzzy bodies who beat me there.
I could sit on the couch and my bed the way I wanted, with out taking into consideration how much space several fur bodies would need to get comfortable.
I would have money, and no guilt to go on a real vacation.
I would not be on a first-name basis with 6 veterinarians, as I put their yet unborn grandkids through college.
The most used words in my vocabulary would not be: out, sit, down, come, no, stay, and leave it ALONE.
My house would not be cordoned off into zones with baby gates or barriers.
I would not talk ''baby talk''. ''Eat your din din''. ''Yummy yummy for the tummy''...
My house would not look like a day care center, toys everywhere.
My pockets would not contain things like poop bags, treats and an extra leash.
I would no longer have to spell the words B-A-L-L, W-A-L-K, T-R-E-A-T, O-U-T, G-O, R-I-D-E, C-O-O-K-I-E
I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside.
I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog/cat ties them down too much.
I''d look forward to spring and the rainy season instead of dreading ''mud'' season.
I would not have to answer the question ''Why do you have so many animals?'' from people who will never have the joy in their lives of knowing they are loved unconditionally by someone as close to an angel as they will ever get.
