Your description of you and your cat made me seriously laugh out loud! Reminds me of my dobie always testing me.

I''ll have to post pics of the princess of the world tonight... she''d murder me if I posted scruffy ones when she has a perfectly good new hair do she got this weekend.
Plus she''ll want to show off her new pink and purple easter bandana.
20.gif

I don''t have any kittehs btw because the princess of the world thinks they are the same things a squeaky toys.

TBjumper, I love your little guy! How cute. I am guessing he is one happy kitty, being taken in off the street!

Thing--Olivia and Charles are beautiful! I can''t get over Olivia''s beautiful face, oh my gosh.

Our kitties are so naughty. The pup''s had her moments, too. I posted this \"True Story\" thread about our pup Bailee''s most outrageously naughty act. I was so mad that I had to do something to calm myself down, so I made a funny article about what happened and sent it to my husband.

Mostly, the kitties just get into places they shouldn''t be.
Here is (left to right):
Vince in the hamper; Vince and Manny on our furniture; Geddy just being super cute.

Ohhh I love this thread!

Cats are just hilarious. I love dogs, but the independent nature of cats just lends itself to some really hilarious photos. I love watching the cats make little decisions and seeing where they end up!

Yes, tongue out kitteh = Ferris!

That, Haven, is absolutely, completely adorable

I just realized Vince has a thing for laundry. He loves to jump in hampers, and whenever we take the case off of the dog''s bed he curls up right on the bare pillow.

Cats are the weirdest creatures on the planet.

Thanks Laila, I think he''s adjusted rather nicely. He must have seen me coming that night a mile away and thought "Suckerrrrrr". One little "Meeeoooww" from under my DH boat and that was it. A few days in quarantine in our master bath and one trip to the vet. The big snip, shots, wormer etc etc etc...After that bill I knew I was keeping him.

EEEEEK I love all of the cute new pictures! I have to run to class but I''ll be back later to post more! I need to post some pictures of my other 2 kitties so they don''t feel left out. The only reason they were left out of this post originally is that they''re not nearly as naughty as Olivia!
3.gif

Thing, Awww... Olivia is too cute, even if she is being naughty. Love the profile shot! Well, at least she didn't eat your homework like our kitty does! LOL

Here's our little naughtius maximus. I caught the little brat starting to eat my notes from a meeting I had at work the other day. Luckily, she didn't eat any of the pieces yet and I was able tape the pages back together (they were a little wet though). That would have been embarrassing... Uh, sorry, my cat ate my notes, literally.

She was also eating my flowers today and just barfed up one of my elastic rubber hair bands this afternoon. Lovely!

Oh my gosh, when is Dewey NOT being naughty...

* to get our attention, he chews plastic, which he later vomits up in unsuspecting places.
* anything left out on the counter is fair game for eating or destruction - bananas, bread, pizza, dishes in the sink...
* when we open the pantry (where the dry food bag is kept) he races over and shoves his head in to grab as much as he can
* he''s always in the mini-blinds, breaking the ends off
* he jumps up on the ledge looking over the first floor when he knows he''s not allowed because he''ll fall off (and has!)
* scratches the furniture
* his favorite food is string cheese, so forget about eating it in front of him. He''ll sit on your lap and try to swat it out of your hand!

Trooper, my little princess (he''s a boy
3.gif
), is developing some bad habits; I think Dewey is rubbing off on him. He''s way less obvious about it though. He plots. LOL.

* we found him one time scarfing down a stolen piece of pizza (I have a pic, I''ll have to post it when I get home!)
* to wake me up to feed him, he jumps up next to my head and bites my nose and meows. Repeat 8987 times.
* he also knocks things off my nightstand to wake me up
* ALSO to wake me up, he''ll get himself closed in the bathroom and meow so I have to get up and then he makes so much noise I have to feed them or they''ll never leave me alone!!!

You''d think we never fed them! They''re lucky they''re so cute!

<-------- That one. Her name is Olivia and her greatest joy in life is being naughty. (She knows that I''ll let her get away with it because she''s adorable and I love her so much. Apparently I''m a future horrible parent and I didn''t know it.)

Today alone she has:

1. Eaten every single leaf and several of the future beans off of 5 of my bean plants.

2. Gotten in the kitchen sink several times.

3. Jumped onto the counter and into the sink right in front of me. I tried blocking and she kept just jumping up on whatever side I couldn''t block.

4. Oh and right now I''m trying to do my statistics homework and she''s laying across my notebook, which is in front of the keyboard, so my arms hurt from contorting them to type my complaints.

ETA got tired of typing this way, but I meant to add that I would love to hear about your naughty pets! And pictures are of course encouraged!
9.gif

She is so beautiful thing2!
When I read your post I felt like I could have written it. It''s amazing how mischevious our cats are. They are constantly looking for ways to amuse/shock/p*** us off LOL.
The latest obsession one of our cats (Tommy) has is to swat my treadmill while I''m on it! Very distracting and disconcerting! He has jumped on a few times but was thrown right off. Didn''t phase him too much though.
6.gif

He is one strong little cat! One of these days I wouldn''t be surprised if he stopped the treadmill as it was going
9.gif

Bobby loves to knock things down. Anything and everything he can.
His favorite thing to knock down is a full glass of whatever we are drinking at the moment. If you are foolish enough to put it down he will swat it and ohhh it spills all over. Then he looks at you like he is just the smartest baby ever
16.gif
The photo I attached is of our darling Bobby (who has numerous health issues and he is about 10 months old)
The worst thing he ever knocked over though was our Kosta Boda bowl from 1990 that is no longer made. My dh was a bit upset (he doesn''t get upset about these things usually) because it was a special gift and is irreplacible but oh well. Bobby wasn''t too upset. All the smashing glass all over the place didn''t aggravate him one bit. In fact, all our kitties were quite interested in trying to get into the middle of all that glass in the Living Room. That was fun to try to clean and keep them from getting hurt at the same time
38.gif

Then there''s Frankie (Francesca) the sweetest sugar cat you will ever meet. She just loves to be in the middle of whatever you are doing/wherever you are. So good luck getting anything done without trying a million times. Even posting here is quite the ordeal with her sweet self hanging all over the keyboard
12.gif

And I cannot leave out Fred. The darling. He loves to scratch our beautiful mahogany dining room table from my grandparents that my husband lovingly refinished for our home. And Fred has put some nice deep and lasting scratches on the table let me tell you.
11.gif

And how could anyone forget all the lovely destructive sofa and chair tearing they all enjoy doing so much. Oh yes, our lovely ABC carpet furniture looks like it should be in the garbage dump right about now
14.gif
Though my dh is trying to patch and repair it really is a losing battle as they outnumber us 4 to 2 the little darlings
11.gif

But we wouldn''t change having them for the world.

All of my cats are monsters. DH likens them to gremlins.

Murphy is the oldest, we like to think he''s an effeminate french man in a cat''s body. He''s very delicate and dainty. We also call him "the rub slut" because he''ll put out for anyone, anywhere, anytime. He doesn''t tolerate the young whippersnappers (D.O.G. and Monty) well and likes to throw hissy fits at them a lot. Last night I found him helping himself to a chicken breast off of the counter and he loves to eat cheese doodles and cheesey puffs.

Binks is the second in command. He was a shelter cat who had a lot of trust issues when we first got him. He was very distrusting and didn''t like to be touched/picked up. It''s taken me 3 years to get to the point of petting him without risking a bite. Now his favorite thing to do is lay on my chest while I''m laying in bed or sleeping. He also likes to sleep in odd places like laundry baskets, on paper and on plastic bags. He once ate the sticky size label off of a pair of jeans (you know, the 1" x 6" strip). He also likes to eat dog food and watch things get flushed down the toilet. Once, when he had a urinary tract infection and was having problems peeing I caught him trying to pee on the toilet. I could see him thinking "well this works for them, maybe it will work for me too" as he squatted on the edge and strained.

Both Murphy and Binks are terrified of mice.

Monty is the baby. He''s D.O.G.''s partner in crime and half the time he prefers to eat D.O.G.''s food over the nice high quality food we buy him. He''s constantly getting into trouble and starting trouble with Murphy. Every morning when DH gets up to shower Monty RUSHES the door to get into the room so he can snuggle with me. Yes, I''m mommy kitty. He even tries to suckle the blanket next to me or my shirt.

They''re such weirdos, but I love them.

This is our beloved Billy who passed away last June.
He was the most delicious and amazing cat ever.
Couldn''t not post one of his photos.

IMG00064.jpg

This is Fred and Tommy hanging out (quietly for once) in Fred's carrier in my dh's workroom during one of the many snowstorms we had this winter.

Oh and another thing they all love to do is chew paper. Mail, memo's you name it they love to chew it. That and plastic too. I try to keep all that stuff away from them as I know it could be very dangerous but it is nuts. They go into the garbage and pull out plastic and paper. They are crazy

OK one more. I posted this one before of Frankie...hanging out on our custom wood blinds in the library

OK last one really. Sorry to be hogging the thread with my cat photos thing2!! I am looking forward to seeing more of your angels!!

This is Fred hanging out in the car as we head to the shore house. He hates being confined on long car trips and won''t stop howling till we let him out for a bit. It is quite the scene LOL

Haven-I LOVE the pictures of your kitties sleeping in weird places! So funny when they do stuff like that! And your story (and accompanying photos) had me laughing out loud-I guess I missed that the first time around but I''m glad I got to see it now!

portia-um it''s a good thing our kitties don''t hang out! (Your girl is GORGEOUS, too!) Olivia actually HAS eaten my homework, too! (Well my notes, at least!) I went to my statistics professor''s office hours a couple of weeks ago and was asking him a question and showing him my notes and he was like "Uh what happened to those?" Hahaha! She loves to bite paper and boxes and then tear them. She pulls her head back as hard as she can and just rips them! And Olivia also eats flowers! EVERY time I get flowers I have to put them up high so she can''t reach them, and then I forget about them and don''t get to enjoy them! Thank God I only have 1 super naughty cat...if I had more than one and they teamed up I would cry.

sunnyd-WOW. Dewey might be even naughtier than Olivia! My other kitty Ophelia messes up the blinds to look out the window but (*knock on wood*) she can''t break them because they''re the thicker custom kind. And Olivia used to scratch up my old couch but when I shelled out for the new one I got super vigilant and she''s pretty good about it now. She still insists on dragging herself along the bottom of the couch using her claws on occasion, though. And doesn''t care when I shout at her at the top of my lungs! Tell Dewey to stop corrupting Trooper!

HH-ha, love your French man description of Murphy! And Olivia is like your Binks and she also loves to bite sticky things-she must love how the adhesive tastes. I''m sure that''s good for them! Um I would DIE if one of my cats tried to use the toilet! HILARIOUS! (Poor fella, though!) And Olivia used to try to suckle on my eyelids and hands! I got her from randos when she was super young so I''m definitely her mommy, too!

missy-your babies are ADORABLE! (And there is no such thing as too many pictures of kitties-you''re not threadjacking at all!) I LOVE all the pictures, especially the one of Frankie in the blinds! HAHAHA that is amazing! I would freak out if my cats did that to ours-it''s bad enough the have to mess them up by opening them to look outside! I also love the one of Fred in the car-so funny! I love cats so much-they all have such funny personalities!

Okay I''m off to find more pics to post...I''m sure I have some action shots of them being bad!
3.gif

Okay I found way too many I wanted to post so I''ll try to control myself! To start-Olivia as a little kitten! She''s actually more like a teenager here-I don''t have any of her tiny baby pictures in digital form. She''s in the tub at my husband''s old apartment...I forgot to mention she loves to drink from tubs and sinks (hence the kitchen sink fight-that''s the only sink in the house she''s not allowed to get in!)

babyoliviasdfas.jpg

And here is Ophelia-she''s a rescue with a sad back story, but she''s safe and sound with me now!
5.gif
She loves to mess up my blinds in her attempts to look out the window, but that''s the naughtiest thing she does, really. Well that and start fights with Charles and Ophelia when they try to look out whatever window she''s currently sitting in!

An action shot of the ladies fighting on the coffee table. Usually Olivia jumps on high things to escape fights and Ophelia ends up on the ground getting her head smacked!

OMG She was such a precious baby thing2!! So so sweet!

Mine love to lay in the sink also and though they don''t drink from the faucet my mom''s cat does and that''s the only place he will drink from LOL

They''re actually friends, though! Snuggling ladies: (Note Ophelia''s heart marking!)

Awwww, so beautiful

All ours are rescues too and I think they need extra love and attention and it makes it impossible to get mad at them (for too long anyway) no matter what they do.

And I can''t forget about my big orange guy Charles! Here he is sleeping and showing off his speckled gums:

Okay almost done I swear. Here''s Charles looking sleepy:

And Olivia under my Christmas tree. Last year was the first year we had one and all three of them were remarkably well-behaved! (Aside from some ornament batting, garland unwinding and tree skirt burrowing, that is!)
