Here you go! All the greens and non-greens. Snapping them alongside made me come to the...realisation...that I need to destash. Maybe 1 strand from the trio of greens on the far right. I bought 3 of them together to wear as a long necklace as they are cut from the same boulder. But boy is jadeite HEAVY even at such sizes!!!

The blue lavender looks like it's from the same boulder as the lighter blue I already own so the lighter strand might get destashed too.

You read my mind missy! Thought they are informal and colourful, fun alternatives to pearl necklaces!

Love all of them, but especially the blues....the deepest one is my favorite followed by the new one. Great collection!

Not Burme see, but I bought this 5ct untreated aquamarine online. A very pale blue, not as saturated as the seller's photos. Oh well.

Photos below are mine taken under white LED with and without flash.

The last photo of yours comes close but yes they did make it seem a lot more blue.

It's more like the first 3 pics. Will keep it for the time being as an aquamarine specimen :)

I kinda like the silvery blue effect of the stone. I don’t think it’s a bad purchase at all. :)

Chryso setting dilemma. Waiting for the cost estimates from the bench.

;-) I KNEW you'd pick the second. I will KIV that setting for a more precious stone.

I would rather have the 3rd as the price is so humble for the stone and makes a change from the recent halos I've been getting.

They are setting the moonstone for me in a double halo and I've preordered my Mozambique cuprian convertible setting that also has a halo!

Haha I am very predictable aren't I?

You HAVE to put something in that though! I seriously dig it! What about a nice green of some sort!!!!???

I CANNOT WAIT to see your new halos!

HA!! I get to be right for once!! I picked the third not because it was less expensive, but because I sometimes like the stone to take center stage. It's going to be really nice!

I'm torn between the silky chryso in the other thread that looks so ethereal inn a simple setting and @mellowyellowgirl's bling chryso. Both are up my alley and I'm actually very easygoing when it comes to settings. I like the plain to the ornate!!!

IKR! I showed Seaglow this article which explains the shortage in good stones in the local market for the past year. Concessions ended and hoarding for the 800th year sale (if there ARE suckers that actually fall for the crazy prices).

I'm on the lookout for bigger stones since my term is running short but no cigar nada.

Luckily jade isn't in Mogok.

I have a sneaking suspicion I may end up keeping both strands

The blue lavender beads are beautiful! Oh, but the green strand is so translucent and pretty too. Keeping two sounds great!

The pink sapphires are gorgeous and I love that the stars are so well-defined!

Thank you. I really like my latest jadeite necklaces and that blue lavender isn't that easy to find! Most lavender jadeite has a sugary/ young texture with lots of white bits. This doesn't have that much as it's "older" jade :)

Where do you hail from when you stop working here?

And what colour big stones are you aiming for?

Ok my vote is for the third one! You’ve got lots of halos,(which are beautiful) ....with this one, I like the built up setting in the third in which the stone stands on its own more. Somehow I’m not sure that the halo does much for the color/spirit of the stone in that it doesn’t need extra enhancement. I like how the third is more architectural looking.

I like the second and third setting. If I picked the third I would pair it with a band, be it a diamond or even a yellow gold band.

These are the price estimates so I'm going with the least ornate at $520 :) 18k white gold.

Thanks for the opinions and suggestions!

You can see the architecture better with this view :) I like the diamonds at the side!
