While I find a lot of antique rings ''interesting'', there are very few I''d actually wear - yours, however, I''d happily wear in a heartbeat. It''s really, really beautiful - the sapphires look very lively, not dead and dark. I checked out his other stuff, and that ruby one like yours is pretty sweet too. Great job picking this one out!!

Thanks cellentani! I know what you mean about a lot of antique styles being "interesting". There are some I drool over and others I would never wear, but I''ve been attached to this style for a while. I looked at a couple of his ruby ones (the .60 and the half carat one) and both were STUNNING! In the end I was deciding between this one and the .60 ruby ring and actually the ruby ring looked much bigger on my hand and was just as gorgeous. The rubies in person were a gorgeous vivid magenta color. I ended up going with this one mostly because the stone spoke to me a little more and I''ve always wanted a chunky cushion.

Thanks so much AraAnn! I love the shade of blue too! I would describe it as a medium ceylon color. In the pictures it looked almost navy, but I''m so glad I saw it in person because it''s a vivid stunning color!
