Hi everyone! Just wanted to share a beautiful necklace from my wedding day. Lovliest gift ever

Total weight is just under 21cts. The 2 pear stones are GIA, and the bigger pear stone is 3.01ct (E, SI1), and the smaller one is 1.11ct (E, VS2).

It was a gift from my father, but we didn't start looking until 1-2 weeks before the wedding. We frantically looked at a bunch of stores, to no avail. About a week before the wedding, my dad found someone to custom-make the necklace to the design we wanted. The team worked night and weekend to create it, and I could not be more thankful for the entire experience.

No kidding - a phenominal heirloom. One so amazing I think I'd look forward to getting older just so I could wear it!

How are the diamond set on the "chain"? Prongs? Bezels? Haloed? I can't tell from the picture.

The chain is bezel-set and was constructed so they could make an 18" chain that would "lay flat" on my body. Apparently prong-set necklaces are usually 16" because the curve is restricted to certain angles and will "flip" if they're any longer.. I learn something new every day!
