Yes, down to 7mm at the bottom, but maybe I should have ordered a size 9 instead of 8.75, it fits ok now since it is winter but it might be a little tight during the summer.

Regarding that spot... Is it something you see in real life? If the ring is a bit snug, is the culet area pressing against your skin?

ETA: what colour is your wife's phone case? It might be the mirror of that? I took a few photos of my CBI diamond and it looked black because of that. With the diamond at a tilt it may just be visible for that area?

Beautiful stone! . of course I expect nothing less from a CBI stone. This is the 3rd CBI I have had seen IRL, and they are all beautiful stones. . there is one other CBI (1.75ct H VS1) that belongs to my friend which I haven't seen yet.

I am very excited to see more pictures tomorrow! You have it in what I call “Pop Rocks” lighting here—really cool laser light show in real life, but not good for taking pictures, in my experience! At least not with cell phone cameras.

Love it! . The only thing I would change (if possible) is to have the grooves cut with less depth so that I can see more diamond.
