So at work my co-worker noticed a.new ring. Pulled my hand over to her and said what is that? I said an opal. A black Opal because its opaque, not transparent. She said "I never seen an opal like that. I have only seen white clear opals." Then she laughed and said " it looks like a 'blue' opal to me."

So i guess this is my first 'blue' opal then

@ZestfullyBling love seeing more pictures of your ring. I would agree your opal has more blue than black ...in fact the blue, green, aqua you see from all different angles makes me think of mermaids and mystical ocean colors. I would call it a mermaid opal.
