@mrs-b I love your well-planned collection. I’m trying to do something similar and I’m obsessing over how to store and display it all. I would love to see if your high level of planning and organization extends to the way you pack up your jewels :)

Also I just love looking at your collection so share any pics you like! :kiss2: Thanks!!

Oooohhhh, @pearaffair - you are destined to be disappointed in this, I'm afraid!

Some people have lovely jewelry displays - not me, tho. To be honest, the way I keep my jewelry doesn't approach 'display' - it's much closer to 'store'. So long as it's safe, that's about as far as I run. Apart from that, we have a serious gun safe in our house, and my jewelry is kept in there, so display wouldn't really count for much anyway.

To be honest, I store my things badly. I am very gentle on things in general, but I do store pieces of jewelry in together, so I risk scratching. My bangles are due for a polish, as they're all stored together in one soft pouch, and they also get a lot of day to day wear. I keep 6 necklaces in 2 compartments and all my pins are in a small punch together. I have diamond earrings buried under charm bracelets. So all in all, no display as such going on here! The only thing treated with real respect is the pendant made in memoriam of my dog. This is precious beyond belief to me, so it gets its own suede lined box.

I took a few snaps for you so you could see the truth of my jewelry tardiness. Sorry to disappoint, and I hope you manage to do a better job than me! :wavey:

All my jewelry boxes / pouches - pls excuse the drab appearance of these photos; the sun is going down and it's overcast to boot.

I love it all. Thank you! I am not disappointed :)

I think my own plan is to sort things by metal type, all on separate trays of beautiful options. I’ll keep you posted!

You have such a beautiful collection @mrs-b ! :love::love::love:

The sun came out today, so, for my own peace of mind, I took a couple of extra photos; the ones I took yesterday just looked so wan and drab. And out of sheer guilt, I pulled my pearl studs out from under wherever they were hiding!

@pearaffair -

I think sorting by metal type sounds wonderful! If you want to do a true display, it makes more sense than anything else, I think, to do it like that. My system is much more utilitarian: pearls, necklaces and drops in the black box, studs and bracelets in the pink box, pins and bangles in the pouches, rings in the...er...ring box.... As I said, utterly uninspired!

I'll look forward to seeing your collection emerge. :wavey:

@mrs-b where is your ring box from?

Also I love the matching band that goes with your opal ring.

Beautiful eye candy mrs-b! There’s nothing disappointing about your display methods :love:

It is all organized and sorted - I think you do a fabulous job displaying it all!

OMG, Mrs-B!!!! There is so much more than last spring when I drooled over your collection! Utterly masterful, beautiful and elegant!!

Are there boxes in any of the pictures? Sorry, really focused on your jewelry. :lol:

You're too kind, @Bonfire! Given how much we pay for this stuff, displaying it more beautifully does make sense. Maybe one day....

Thanks, @MissGotRocks - that's basically all I've been looking for. So long as I don't damage the pieces, and so long as I can find things easily - that's pretty much enough for me!

@liaerfbv - lol! Yes, there are! But I'm glad you're too dazzled to see them. :)) Looking forward to seeing your dazzling new pieces also!

Thank you, @Mcgregor :wavey:

To be honest, I didn't pull all my pieces out last spring when we met; I didn't want to look 'braggy'. When I have the last of my rings together, perhaps we could get together for a coffee and I'll haul out the lot of it? I'd love to catch up with you again! Perhaps we could also persuade @Tekate and @Lookinagain to join us - a couple of women who I'm SURE you'd enjoy meeting!

I wish I was nearby mrs-b. I want to come for coffee too, I so enjoyed talking with you! :kiss2:

Amazing collection Mrs.B!!! those earrings get me every time...I am a sucker for earrings in general, no such thing as too many lol...(unless you ask my husband)

Mrs-b, I can’t resist! Count me in!
