Here is the original thread for this ring - it''s a read-only thread now, so I had to start a new thread to add more pics!

This is a family heirloom from my mother''s side, set in platinum. The stone is visibly tinted (probably a K-L color according the the jeweler who eyeballed it but doesn''t own a master set for comparison). It''s about 6.8mm in diameter, and in it''s original (as far as I know) setting.
