Hey sorry for not posting guys. Was wrapped up in stuff.

Got the workorder and am just gonna go to a jewelry store on Mon or Tues to double check the size of my right hand finger. Then I'll send her in. I am sooooo glad I went in this direction. Plus the cost is waaaaay lower than the sapphire halo project. To give you a hint; ok his Paraiba 3 stone, with a .40 center diamond oval on his retail site is $5000. Now remember, he often sells his retail projects for less than his custom, because he will make retail pieces from stock material, and there's no consultation involved, etc etc. He says that to order the same paraiba ring as custom would be around $6500 to $7000... having to resource the paraiba and whatnot. (But also, because pricing is not always just a cut and dry thing... and this I also know because of my painting business. It's not like I price my work based solely on canvas dimensions... And I might price something less if I want it to move versus a new painting that is commissioned.)

Anyhow, my ring, with a center .60 greenish yellow diamond with .26 cttw D VS oval sidestones and the workmanship will cost somewhere around $6800. Not cheap, but right where I wanted to be cost wise for this project. The double halo wouldve been around 10k.

As far as when I get it. Well, remember with me, it's always about when I'm back in the States, not his typical wait time. I expect to have it delivered to me in the 3rd week of December.

I promised him that this is it too after my latest eternity ring upgrade and one week (yes, i said ONE WEEK!) afterwards i went back to the jeweller and upgraded the same ring again Just so you know that such promises to our hubbies aren't always kept...
