I recently found a ring while detailing my car. It has a few markings, none that I have been able to identify other than the purity (10k)20200308_163207.jpg20200308_171416.jpg2020-03-08-17-12-05-237.jpg2020-03-08-16-48-51-138.jpg2020-3-8 16-19-42.jpg2020-03-08-17-08-04-536.jpg2020-03-08-17-05-31-936.jpgCM200308-134943003.jpg2020-03-08-16-50-10-856.jpgthe last picture is three letters (GNG)20200308_163207.jpg20200308_171416.jpg2020-03-08-17-12-05-237.jpg2020-03-08-16-48-51-138.jpg2020-3-8 16-19-42.jpg2020-03-08-17-08-04-536.jpg2020-03-08-17-05-31-936.jpgCM200308-134943003.jpg2020-03-08-16-50-10-856.jpg

Is this a used car? Or did anyone sit it in your car who might have lost it & would love it back?

It's a used car, and nobody who has been in the car is missing one. It's mainly me and my gf and kids in the car. We've had if for roughly 3 years. It was wedged between the mounting bracket for the e torque bolts and the floor.

And I thought finding $8 in change in a new-used car was fun!

I wonder if you could trace to the previous owner...see if they lost a piece of jewelry.
But that might just open a can of worms.

Sorry to not be more helpful about identifying it. The hallmark is hard to read. Is it possible to get a crisper image?

Two of the stamps are very very hard to get a clear image of, but there is (GNG)(OK (WITH A SYMBOL TO THE RIGHT) ) , and (10k( with a symbol to the left slightly slightly in the recess) ) . I will try to get a clear(ER) image , also has 7 small stones in the channel on top of the ring.

Could it be GND? They make 10k gold rings.

The gng stamp is pretty clear, I'm think the gng may be the initials of the person who lost it however long ago. Still not positive though.20200309_161734.jpg
