Love my new earrings, but

They have thicker posts than I'm used to, and la poussette backs. They are platinum, which has never bothered me before.

Any suggestions on how to make them hurt less?

And for you stat monsters, each drop is 1.65ct, vs, i, old euro and there is another carat in the dangle,. I'll post more when I have the appraisal with me. Thanks.

I had the same problem with sore ears with La Poussette backs. So much so that I almost thought of having the earrings re-done with smaller posts and regular backs.

But in the end I persevered. I would wear the earrings for one day, then wear small earrings with regular size posts for a few days, as a ‘rest’ until my earlobes were no longer sore. Then wear the problematic earrings again for a day.

After few times of alternating like this, it got to the point that they no longer hurt. No problems now.

I hope this approach will also work for you, with your beautiful earrings.
