Oh, yay!!! Friday shopping is great! Skippy gets in around noon so we just need to meet up with her at some point! I think Friday will be nice since it potentially may be less crowded than Saturday.

I am already salivating with anticipation! And I have a pair of false eyelashes left over from several Halloween's ago...if we think that batting some really long eyelashes will help, I'm willing to sacrafice myself! Heck, 15 years ago, I would have offered to show some leg or cleavage, but these days, I get a better reaction if I offer to keep it covered up!

I remember last year, there was this amazing jewelry store that had huuuuge yellow diamonds mounted in these gorgeous Edwardian settings. All all their jewelry was HUGE. Like I'm holding a freaking moon in my hand, huge. I think it was in the Venetian or somewhere in that vicinity! Wanna go back!

haha Yenny I'm sure you can be persuasive!!! I'll be in LV already (coming in early that week) so I was thinking lunch and then shopping afterwards when Skippy arrives? Or just shopping- it doesn't matter to me either way.

DS very excited...you're coming in from NC right? I'm assuming US Air... Looks like Southwest is our best bet.

DF he is always watch shopping. This is what I love about him....because where there are watches...there is usually (not always) bling!

then he'll love Vegas.there are a lot more watch stores now compared to 12 yrs ago the last time i was there.

I just looked and because of the resort fees added on to those hotels when you check out, that balances things out. So the deal some of us got is still about equal to that even with buying the ticket. We got a nice discount on our tickets for Love, thanks to Skippy calling! Lots of restrictions, too....3 night hotel minimum and not all performances are available, limited seating options, etc. Thanks, though, Elisa!

You know how they say if you book your flights and hotel late Tuesday night, it's cheaper? I never believed it but I booked last night and I got a cheaper deal than what I have been lurking about for the past few days!

I'm sorry DS! It was just a 10 dollar difference! I was just super excited cuz I proved the myth! I'm pretty sure other places get more discounts. My friend went to Hawaii and she booked on a Tuesday and gots hundreds off. But I didn't believe her, but now I do!

I was going to say that if it was a significant savings, I'd cancel my reservation and rebook next Tuesday night! But I think I won't worry about it for that amount of difference. But good for you, though!
