#JOTW Love, creativity and strength, an FCD ring for a 40 year pre

I'm turning forty in a few years. I wanted to celebrate it and the journey this far with a ring, as well as remind myself of important lessons learned.

I started out last summer, researching fancy colored diamonds here on PS, contacting many stores. I ended up with Leibish and Diamonds by Lauren for the FCD:s, because of the friendly service in both places.

Then, having collected a really odd combination of stones, I took them to Annette Tillander so she could create her magic.

Here's the end result, with an engraving from Andy Williams' song Moon River.

Fancy deep yellowish orange pear 0.64 ct
Fancy vivid yellow orange radiant 0.23 ct
Fancy light yellow asscher 1,1 ct
Pink asscher cut spinel

White gold ring with brilliant cut diamonds.

This is a super comfy, low sitting ring. I'm yet to see it in all lights, but there always seems to be something new to see.

If you have a few years until you're 40, I'd for sure make this a present to celebrate this year, because you will want something else by the time you really turn 40! It will help you get through that birthday a lot better! But trust me, 40 is sooo young!!!
