I received this pair of hoops from my DH last Christmas; he bought from family friends who previously owned a jewelry store. I has work travel 4 wks ago. I put on my hoops and I think one I did not really snapped it all the way in and told myself to resecure once I get in the car.
It was stress to get to the airport. Well, I never remember to do so. While I was standing on line to go thru security, I heard a clink on the floor, I looked down but did not see anything. I arrived at the destination, check-in the hotel, and went out for lunch. Then, I came back to the hotel to freshened up before the meeting, I discovered that my hoop the right is gone. I retraced back to restaurant; I called the Airport Loss and Found for the past 4 wks. No Luck!
I did not insured this earrings. So sad....
Does anyone here know the estimate cost to make one replacement? .05ct stone and in & out 14kt. I have to check the diameter.
