color and clarity?

Color D-J
Clarity F-SI2
Well cut

oh and what was the minimum size requirement

Okay, here are some nice ones! Let me know if the PS/wire discounted price doesn't show up for you on the WF stones. Three prices should show.

http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/10670/ (I generally don't recommend SI2's unless they have twining wisps)

http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/11143/ (can't see what the inclusions are on this one, but it says eyeclean)

The biggest size....it only has twining wisps...I'd contact JA and make sure it's eye clean. It scored a 1.8 on the HCA (anything under 2 is great!) and JA will give you an ideal scope image (shows you how well the stone performs), not to mention the video. JA also offers PS members a 1-5% additional discount not including a wire discount:

EDIT to add: PUT IT ON HOLD ASAP!!!

What do y'all mean by "twining wisps"?

Diamond seeker, only one price is showing up on white flash.

Its a type of inclusion. not all diamond inclusions look like black spot, some are more noticeable that other to the naked eye. Twinning wisps are more likely not to be seen by the naked eye, making them a "good inclusion"

im pretty keen on this one actually

the depth means its over 7mm, the clarity is perfect, no question about eye clean, but not overpaying for VVS....

compared to other Js it faces up whiter, id imagine its a high J ( if you look at it comared to other JA Js youll see what i mean)

and i just like the fatter arrows and the look of this stone. very appealing to the eye. Plus if you ask them for the PS wire discount, probably bring it closer to 8700 or less

Prices with wire payment and PS discount:

http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2982224.htm?source=pricescope ($8657)

http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2953038.htm?source=pricescope ($9066)

http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2982227.htm?source=pricescope ($9391)

Plus I think they have a first time buyers discount of something like $100.

WhiteFlash and GOG are best if you think you may ever want to upgrade your diamond.

And I'd 1000 times rather have one of the I VS2 stones over a J VS1.

OP - a HUGE mistake that even PSers that have been around a long time or have posted 30k posts is that they keep saying what "they'd rather" this is YOUR STONE NOT THEIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also like the J VS1 stone Niel posted. The I VS2 stones posted above are smaller than the J VS1 and it will be a noticeable difference! BUT AGAIN, this is YOUR STONE. So whatever appeals to you. All of the stones posted perform well so you can't make a bad decision.

And almost anyone with any number of posts can reason that an I color VS ideal cut stone is a better buy than a stone in J color. J color usually has some visible tint compared to I color. Plus no one can dispute that WF and GOG have a far better trade-in policy.

And 04, that is a very questionable statement that the last two WF stones will be noticeably smaller than the J color stone from JA. There would be a tiny bit of size difference between the first WF stone and the J stone, but having the higher color is also going to be visible.

People post here to get help. All help is our opinions.

not true. A lot of people would prefer a J SI2 if it means a bigger stone. Just because YOU'D prefer an I VS2 does not mean that everyone else would. All I was saying is that this is not your stone and that the OP should be able to get the stone they want.

04, this is ridiculous. I am afraid I do not see a post where I told her she was forbidden to buy anything. (And the stones we were comparing were all very close to the same size.... I VS2 vs J VS1)

Since OP gave us a broad range of parameters, I believe we are free to suggest whatever we think is good. We don't know what OP prefers in terms of size. It's up to OP to decide what works best for him/her. It's ok to suggest whatever we think is good, but we shouldn't attack others for their preferences. I'd probably suggest G/H VS2/SI1, but it's just what I like. OP might maximize the size by going to J/SI2. It's totally up to him/her.

The James Allen stone is lovely!
