Loose Diamond Help!

Hi All,

I am new to PriceScope and I've been perusing the boards for a while now. I made a prior post looking for help choosing a diamond for an engagement ring, and there I got some great advice that helped me alter and narrow my search (thanks sledge!!).

With that said, I placed a couple on hold and was hoping to get some feedback from the community.

First one:

Specs:

• 57 table
• 62.2 depth
• 35 crown
• 40.8 pavilion
• 80 LGF

Also one that comes close with a 36.5 crown, but 75 LGFs and a bit less expensive:

• 36.5 crown

Between those two, #1. I'm am not a fan of the high crown angle of #2, and also the arrows look way too fat for my taste (I'm guessing we are talking 72-73% LGF here) - I'm concerned you'll be seeing quite a bit of darkness in the center.

Thanks Katya. I am leaning towards #1 but I guess I should mention that my search is ongoing so I'm not necessarily set on buying one of these - these two just looked to be good options to me and I wanted to get some second opinions (and third... and fourth... ). Any and all feedback is much appreciated!

of those two, i prefer the first. As far as #2, I'm down with a 36 crown but 36.5 is just a bit too high for me. Definite pass. Though i'd probably pass on the first one as well. though the angles are good, i don't care for the smaller arrows.

UPDATE:

I have been continuing my search and I'm almost convinced to stretch the budget just a bit for a better stone. Wanted to get thoughts on the following three stones from Whiteflash, one of which was previously recommended to me in this forum:

I have one on hold right now. Any preferences of this new bunch, and are they that much better than the first James Allen one I posted previously? Curious just how noticeable will the difference in size will be, and if I should be at all concerned about the inclusions. The WF rep I spoke to is going to get me some photos and confirm the eye clean appearance.

The ACAs are top of the line so should look great in terms of cut

The Expert Selection diamonds come close to being ACA but sometimes just miss, so they are a great opition
