Looking for upgrade MRB $4K budget for stone

Hi,

I am looking for an upgrade ring for my 10 year anniversary and I am having a tough time picking out the stone. It will go in a white gold 2 mm knife edge solitaire.

Any opinions or suggestions? I can stretch a little if needed.

Are you color sensitive? Do you want an ideal cut stone I assume?

Hi,

I am hoping to stay at H or above. I had previously been interested in an oval and I "test drove" one for a few hours that was an I/J and I really noticed the colour in it, but I think that I would be less likely to notice the colour in an RB.

I would like to find an excellent/ideal cut.

What size are you upgrading from, and how much larger do you want? In a superideal H&A, even the I color range faces up pretty white and bright in and the tint is mostly seem from the side only.

I'm a novice with MRBs but found a couple for you to look at.

If this is eyeclean or a prongable inclusion it's a great choice. I hope one of the MRB savvy PSers comments. BTW at James Allen you can put up to three diamonds on hold and they will have their gemologist review them for you. Ask for idealscopes.

You are going to want to stay away from stones that have steep angles, are deep, and have small tables.
